Beautiful Setting, I felt like I was in another country🩷💜

There were six of us last night for dinner. The food was disgusting. Then when I told our waitress she gave me a dirty look and walked away. Didn't even say she was sorry. Very unprofessional!!🤬

Zero starts should be an option. The food is absolutely disgusting. *See pictures below

We were so excited to try the food and wine at Villa Bellezza Winery & Vineyards. The wine tasted like vinegar and I didn’t finish my glass. All 3 of my friends tried it and found it equally disgusting.

As for the food, the chef’s nonna would be horrified. The chicken on the pizza was thrown on after the cheese was melted. Plus the chicken was cold! The pesto chicken sandwich and salad came out way before anyone else’s food and was less than memorable. The pasta dish I had could have been better if it was a frozen meal from a box. One of my friends has food allergies and couldn’t eat because everything had cheese or nuts already mixed in. Everything was made ahead of time and they could NOT accommodate. She was not able to eat.

Olive Garden would have been a better choice ?

Day of “service”, October 6, 2024, we elected to sit outside and had to order at the register. It looks like an upscale restaurant but it’s not. Is a gorgeous establishment, but the food and wine is a disgrace to Italian cuisine.

Lovely atmosphere. Good pizza and good wine for Minnesota. They were a little staunch in their position of limited service, like bringing us a pizza we intended to share and then telling me where to go get plates when I asked for them (instead of getting the plates for us, which she easily could have done). That was off-putting. We were also given 4 crackers for a whole cheese plate, which seemed stingy and impractical. When we asked politely for more crackers, a server said she wasn't sure she was allowed to bring more and that she needed to check. She didn't come back to bring us crackers or tell us it wasn't possible till we finally flagged her down. She said that no, she wasn't allowed to bring more crackers (!!). I told her I really would have appreciated her coming back sooner to tell us. She gave us a pile of excuses, which wasn't helpful or comforting. This whole cracker experience left a very bad taste in our mouths about the whole winery visit.

Amazing grounds that transport you to Sonoma. Good quality local wine with expert employees and full service restaurant. Beautiful and a great place to stop on a fall road trip down the river.

Attended the pasta class. Participation was minimal, one small table with two pasta makers for 21 people. Sauces were already made and the other ingredients were already in the pan. Made tortellini but we were not told what the filling was. The Chef said the only two people who mixed the ingredients would know what they were and he was correct. The Recipes were the chefs from the Betty Crocker Italian Cookbook. Small plate of food when plenty of additional food was returned to the kitchen. Get there early for a good seat. The last couple that came didn't get to sit together. In the end we did learn how to knead and make pasta.

Awesome location with great wine and an affordable tasting. Walking out the back door felt like stepping into Italy. We had to remind ourselves we were still in Wisconsin.

Very nice! Great staff, awesome food, and of course the wine is amazing!

The smoked salmon pesto was full of flavor. Thought it was small for the price but it was filling. My wife had the tortellini mushroom pasta and enjoyed it very much. The wine was also very good.

Gorgeous wedding venue. Well kept grounds outdoors and amazing attention to maintain the buildings.

This place absolutely struggles with communication in all aspects. Service was terrible and they ran out of nearly all of their food. I was told 40 minutes after ordering their pasta salad that they were out of it… the only thing they have going for them is their wine. Save the trip and just purchase it at the liquor store if you can!

Great vineyard along the Mississippi River Wisconsin-side. Feels very Italian with great food options and is dog-friendly on patio.

Let me begin by saying I sent an email to the address listed in several other negative reviews and I have yet to receive a response. I wanted to give them a chance to reply privately. After no response there I decided to post here.

We have been waiting for two and a half years to come here!
What a HUGE let down!!!
This was a destination day trip for my birthday.

First, we walked into the restaurant where we greeted by... absolutely no one to greet us, guide us, nothing.
Yes there was a sign, but that arrow was pointing to a wall. Several people from the kitchen area saw us standing there and yet not one person helped us. Not even the girl unpacking the wine in the walkway. This young lady was barely cordial with her information when she finally stoppedstockingwine and came over to help us. Rude to say the least!

Second, we both order a Panini which comes with a pasta salad.

A panini (/pəˈniːniː/; nowadays less commonly called panino, Italian: [pa'niːno])[1][2][3] is a sandwich made with Italian bread (such as ciabatta and michetta), usually served warm after grilling or toasting.

Our sandwich was just that, a sandwich! It was not made on the proper bread which was more like a baguette nor was it warm OR grilled!!!
The pasta salad was dry, no dressing of any sort on it. We had to use the olive oil from our appetizer in order to choke it down.
Our sandwich had 3 slices of turkey meat on it. I only know this because my husband had to open his up and add a sauce to it as it was so dry. Yes, sauce from our appetizer.
We each paid $14 for a sandwich that was completely wrong and dry and definitely not worth the price.

Third, let's talk about the rude young woman who delivered our food to us. This individual wouldn't speak to us when she delivered our sandwiches even after we said thank you to her. We shouldn't be too surprised seeing as how we were treated so poorly when she delivered our appetizer.

Fourth, being asked at the time of ordering to tip is beyond ridiculous! Who ever heard of that? We tipped to be treated horribly. If that isn't a kick in the pants.

Fifth, are all employees able to see what has been tipped? If so was this 18% tip the reason for poor service? We ordered the bread appetizer, two sandwiches, a Diet Coke, and a glass of wine. $60 including tip!
Not to shabby for two people for lunch.
We were happy to pay this as we had planned to do this earlier in the week.

We hadn't planned on being treated badly by staff, whom we tipped rem8nd you. Nor did we expect our food to be bad and inedible.

Go for the wine, not the food and definitely not the service!!!
