This was a great homey feel diner! Got in just before it rained and were greeted politely and had friendly service the whole time through. Our food was delicious and filling, and our waitress (though she was busy!) kept us topped up and happy. We’re visiting from Alberta Canada and were happy to stop in here!

We ate breakfast here last weekend and it was fabulous! There was only one waitress and she was running her tail off. Good coffee, amazing omelettes, what more could you ask for? I got the Philly omelette and my husband got the farmers (I think) both were great! Exited to have another place to go for breakfast! Wish we would have taken a photo but we were too hungry 😂

This review went to the bottom of the list for some reason unlike several glowing reviews from a year ago or more. Let's just say perhaps there's been a change in management or enthusiasm since then. I found the service inattentive and lackluster, the server intent on personal conversation with a friend instead. The entree was served with a piece of leaf lettuce way beyond edible (clearly black areas of wilt and deterioration). I removed the offending lettuce, ate the sandwich anyway, paid my bill, and left a tip (which I immediately regretted). I rarely give poor reviews. This was a needed exception.

We're new to the area and were looking for a decent breakfast at a decent price. What we got at the Peshtigo Cafe was a great breakfast, great service, and a great price. Although there was a single server, we were treated as if we were the only people in the place: acknowledgement that we had arrived, coffee served quickly, order taken and delivered quickly. My husband order biscuits and gravy with an egg over easy: delicious! I order the stuffed French toast: the server suggested getting both strawberries and blueberries: delicious! We liked everything so much that we've been back twice!

Love this place! When traveling, we try to visit local places and support local businesses. Good food, great price. Was not busy when we were there for a lunch on a Saturday afternoon. They were able to accommodate a party of 6, though it was across 2 tables. :)
