We wanted to find a new place to try while here for a conference and we are so happy that we came here. I got the chicken littles as an appetizer and my husband got soup and immediately we were impressed. Followed up by steak for him and a Parmesan crusted grilled cheese for me kept the amazing food going. Then the desserts brought us over the finish line to an amazing meal. Everyone was so kind and helpful and we will definitely come back.
I suggested that we go here as a family for dinner tonite. I’ve been going here for 40+ years, but lately (last bunch of years) I’d have to say that the food has been very up and down. The fried chicken is very good and the fish fry is decent. There are a few other things on the menu that aren’t bad. Tonite 3 of us got the baked cod, because there are very few other gluten free options. It was very poor and should have been thrown out. Why have something on the menu that you don’t know how to prepare, and that’s totally freezer burned. Other meals such as fried chicken, ribs, and perch sandwich were received well. I would definitely never order the cod again and would suggest they take it off the menu.
We have dined here for years and never had a bad experience. However, tonight we realized my son had left his retainer on a small plate on the table. We went back in to ask if they had seen it and the bartender said “ask the waitress”. We asked the waitress left at the end of the night and she said “sorry we probably threw it out”. Yes, it’s my son’s fault but it was sitting on a plate, not even on a napkin. No one was helpful and I felt as though we were completely dismissed.
Dinner was great, server was on point, atmosphere was quaint.
It was definitely awkward when we finished dessert and payment when they asked us to leave within 5 minutes so they could have the table for a bigger party.
That was a first, and very tacky for a dining room that had several open tables.
Went on Tuesday with my fiancé - we both had the beef barley soup (SO good) and fish fry (cod and lake perch). Our server and all staff were super nice and attentive and we’ll definitely be coming back!
Good friendly service and supper club atmosphere but the fish fry is not good. Although a popular place amongst locals for a fish fry? We found it poor in quality, taste and presentation. Although you have a choice of fish, how it's prepared and number of pieces, the taste is lacking! I've had more flavorful fish at Culver's. The dinners come with a vinegar based coke slaw, very basic / boring bread and French fries. On a Friday nite, you cannot upgrade to a baked potato. The only upgrade options are fruit, cottage cheese or another style of French fries. On a scale of 1-10, with 10 being high, I'd give this fish fry a 3. I have had other entrees at this supper club which are much better than the fish fry.
cute, cozy atmosphere with great food!
Worst Restaurant experience Ever!! Will Not be Back !! I’ve had many fish fries in my life but this one is definitely at the very bottom of my list ! The Cod was dry and had no flavor … i’ve had way better Cod at Culver’s! ! The service was horrible ! The older woman waited on us ( party of 2) .. may be a hostess too .. She is not pleasant at all .. seemed almost “ too busy” to take our order.. as if we were a bother .. did not cone back to check on us .. and Worst of All , We were asked to LEAVE after barely finishing our neal in order to free up our table for other waiting customers .. how do you know that we didn’t want to order dessert or drinks ?!!? Absolutely RUDE !!! Will NEVER be back and Will Tell many others about this horrible experience !!

In town for a wedding and tried this place for dinner. Great food, good portions.
Only concern was that there was no changing table in the bathroom for my kiddo.
Otherwise a great experience.

This may be the best fish fry. I've ever had, however, it's so busy. It's aired for the waiter or waitress to keep up and refill your drinks. It's definitely worth the forty five minutes hour.Wait to get food.
