First visit today at Beach Bum Bakery and it was an absolute 5-star experience from start to finish. The staff were super friendly and attentive. Huge selection of delicious bakery goods that were super fresh! The pumpkin carmel coffee paired perfectly with my cream cheese topped GF pumpkin bar! The ham and rolls were an extra bonus.The rolls were outstanding!!! Even though our drive to the bakery took 30 minutes, we look forward to many more early Sunday bakery trips to Pewaukee! Thank you Beach Bum Bakery!! 🍰🍪🍩🧁🎂

I had high hopes walking into Beach Bum Bakery, but unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to the hype. I picked up two cosmic brownie-themed donuts, two peanut butter cup cupcakes, and one cookies and cream cupcake on Sunday, the 7th. The donuts were the biggest letdown… Overwhelmingly artificial in flavor, almost chemical-tastinf. They’ve were stacked (smashed) on top of each other in a paper bag which added more disappointment. Next were the cupcakes.. and they didn’t fare much better. The base was dry and crumbly, lacking any richness or moisture. The cookies and cream frosting tasted more like a sugary butter than anything remotely cookie-inspired. The only reason I’m giving an 2 instead of an 1 is because the peanut buttercream was delish! Overall, the presentation was cute, but the desserts missed the mark.

I’ve been to Beach Bum Bakery a few times now. From the items I’ve had (donuts, cookies, cupcakes and breakfast sandwich) most items have been good. I was there recently on a weekend morning to get donuts and a breakfast sandwich. As I was there it went from just a two people in the shop to 15 people, thankfully I had ordered prior to all these people arriving. The two employees working did seem a little overwhelmed and frantic. I was able to get my donuts in a timely manner but the breakfast sandwich took about 25 minutes to get and it only had one small/thin piece of bacon on it that was torn in half. Note: the employees were very kind, I could just see the distress on their faces and they were trying to get caught up. The other times I’ve been here the service has been much quicker than what I experienced.

Sub par drip coffee. Oatmeal cookie is just a dressed up sugar cookie, lots ofsugar. Almond croissant was decent. Everything else looked loaded with frosting and sugar. Side note: good pastry is NOT about sugar and frosting.

Beach Bum made custom cookies for a baby shower I was hosting. I provided the graphic to be used and they turned out wonderfully!! We got many compliments about how cute they were and they tasted great. Thank you Beach Bum!

Absolutely Magical Cake from Beach Bum Bakery!
We ordered a Frozen-themed birthday cake for our daughter’s 4th birthday, and Beach Bum Bakery absolutely nailed it! The cake was not only stunning to look at, but it truly brought the Frozen magic to life. From the beautiful Elsa and Olaf toppers to the dreamy blue-and-white ombré frosting, delicate snowflakes, and shimmering pearls — every detail was perfect. The handcrafted chocolate shards behind Elsa added such a dramatic flair, and the cake lettering was neat and charming.
Beach Bum Bakery exceeded our expectations and made daughters big day even more special. Highly recommend for any themed celebration — they bring your vision to life and then some!

I stopped in yesterday after seeing many Facebook posts! I was DYING to try their cookies and I was not disappointed. The prices are great, the staff working were so welcoming, and the selection was great! I will definitely be making another trip out here!
