I’ve been to Beach Bum Bakery a few times now. From the items I’ve had (donuts, cookies, cupcakes and breakfast sandwich) most items have been good. I was there recently on a weekend morning to get donuts and a breakfast sandwich. As I was there it went from just a two people in the shop to 15 people, thankfully I had ordered prior to all these people arriving. The two employees working did seem a little overwhelmed and frantic. I was able to get my donuts in a timely manner but the breakfast sandwich took about 25 minutes to get and it only had one small/thin piece of bacon on it that was torn in half. Note: the employees were very kind, I could just see the distress on their faces and they were trying to get caught up. The other times I’ve been here the service has been much quicker than what I experienced.

Sub par drip coffee. Oatmeal cookie is just a dressed up sugar cookie, lots ofsugar. Almond croissant was decent. Everything else looked loaded with frosting and sugar. Side note: good pastry is NOT about sugar and frosting.

Beach Bum made custom cookies for a baby shower I was hosting. I provided the graphic to be used and they turned out wonderfully!! We got many compliments about how cute they were and they tasted great. Thank you Beach Bum!

Absolutely Magical Cake from Beach Bum Bakery!
We ordered a Frozen-themed birthday cake for our daughter’s 4th birthday, and Beach Bum Bakery absolutely nailed it! The cake was not only stunning to look at, but it truly brought the Frozen magic to life. From the beautiful Elsa and Olaf toppers to the dreamy blue-and-white ombré frosting, delicate snowflakes, and shimmering pearls — every detail was perfect. The handcrafted chocolate shards behind Elsa added such a dramatic flair, and the cake lettering was neat and charming.
Beach Bum Bakery exceeded our expectations and made daughters big day even more special. Highly recommend for any themed celebration — they bring your vision to life and then some!

I stopped in yesterday after seeing many Facebook posts! I was DYING to try their cookies and I was not disappointed. The prices are great, the staff working were so welcoming, and the selection was great! I will definitely be making another trip out here!

Let my photo speak for me. It was so beautiful I literally almost cried. Absolutely perfect and my daughter loved it. Also a heads up to any future customers, I had ordered this cake back in the beginning of May for June 8th, because I knew they'd be insanely booked out because of graduations, obviously. So just remember to give them a decent heads up, I'd say a month in advance at least. You aren't the only customer they have. Hope this helps! Thank you guys for the most perfect birthday cake! I visited this morning for the first time after hearing great reviews, and I was not disappointed. I came home with two long johns, two M &M donuts, and four cupcakes. A MUST try is the eclair cupcake! If I didn't live so far away, I would go back for 4 more. Definitely head in on a weekend right after they open to get the best selection, and don't forget to enjoy the lake view.
Had a cupcake with mini pancakes on top & a kitchen sink cookie. This was my first time being here and thankfully it’ll be my last! Absolutely disgusting. The cupcake was nothing but a concoction of artificial ingredients. The frosting tasted like alcohol, the cake itself was dry and nothing better than what you could throw together yourself from a box. The kitchen sink cookie had almost a burnt edge and was overall very underwhelming. My husband ate some of the cupcake and immediately stated how disgusting it was. We pulled over at a gas station and threw it out. Short time later he starts gagging and says he has no idea why but all the artificial crap in the cookie and cupcake made him feel very unwell. Would never recommend this establishment to anyone. I guarantee the only reason why this place has business is because of the location.

Incredibly disappointed with the service and lack of professionalism. I wanted to purchase a cake for my birthday and had my mother call to see if they were able to make the type of cake I wanted. They told her that they were able to do the cake, we would just have to place a custom order. No mention of being completely booked out. A few hours later, we both arrived at the bakery to place our order. Before even discussing the details of the cake or price, we asked the young woman at the counter if they were open on Sunday’s—she told us they were. We then told her we needed the cake for Sunday, May 18th (over two weeks away at this time). Without checking any sort of schedule or calendar, she immediately told us that they were entirely booked out until exactly May 18th, which sounded odd considering she hadn’t told us that over the phone. We restated the date to make sure she had heard us correctly and she confirmed that they were completely busy until then. The next day, I called back myself and expressed my interest in placing a custom cake order and gave them the date of May 17. The woman on the phone immediately told me that that would work and I could place an order for that day. At this point I was very upset and my mom and I later called back and spoke to the owner who dismissed the incident by merely stating that her employee simply “had her dates mixed up.” She even checked the calendar and confirmed the date was good. Me and my mom got the impression that the employee didn’t want to serve us because of who we were and therefore lost a customer for the business because of her own prejudices. We were not offered any recourse from the owner, only a “I’m glad you found another bakery to help you.”

I’m a sucker for a good donut place. While I love mini donuts, the donuts here are big and delicious! I ordered their Easter donuts and they were so soft and squishy inside. I also tried their cake pops + cupcakes, those were equally delicious. The staff was super friendly and welcoming! I’d definitely come back and i look forward to trying their other desserts.
