Bo’s Schnitzel Bunker is legit. The schnitzel is crispy, flavorful, and made with quality ingredients—no seed oils, just real beef tallow and lard. I had the pork schnitzel on a pretzel bun with Bo’s sauce and homemade pickles, and it hit the spot. The cucumber salad and seasoned fries were solid, too.
Bonus points: the owner is pretty hot.

Wonderful authentic Schnitzel! We had sandwiches, but they also serve without bread. Sides are also good, with very generous portions. If you have a craving for good food with a German flair, I highly recommend it. On a nice day, they have a couple of picnic tables on the rear deck overlooking the lake.

Just tried the Schnitzelbunker for the first time tonight. Delicious food! We had schnitzel sandwiches with fries, the schnitzel tenders and pretzel. The seasoning in the schnitzel breading was amazing and the fries were just the right amount of spicy! Kids loved the schnitzel tenders and pretzel. The outdoor seating right on the lake was perfect for the family as we didn’t have to worry about the kids being too loud and they could watch the ducks on the lake. We were there while Taste of the Lake was happening around the corner so we had a short walk for parking, but it was still easy to park.

We had a bit of a mix up with our delivery but when i called the restaurant to let them know the gentleman was polite and helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. I personally wasn't a fan of the curry ketchup but I've never been a fan of curry so I figured that would be the case but still wanted to try it. Everything else was absolutely amazing. The schnitzel wasnt dry or overcooked, the bratwurst was really good, and the pretzels were phenomenal. I definitely recommend the pretzel bun for the schnitzel, that was our favorite!

I REALLY wanted to like this. But the piece of meat i received was not even covering half of the bun. Far from the overflowing meat they have in their pictures. I get you want to put the best Pic online. But for the cost one would assume it would at least be the size of the bun. And it was rather dry on top of that. The curry ketchup was tasty, and thicker consistency than what I get at the store
The schnitzel, cucumber salad and potato salad were very good. The curry ketchup is excellent. We will be back!

This is the ONLY place out of all of Wisconsin where there is a true German that owns and cooks the food. The Brat, Coleslaw and everything else is the most authentic German food I’ve have in America. So grateful for this place and I come all the time now for the food. Also the beers are all real German beers too which I appreciate.
