Stopped in for lunch and was glad I did. Friendly service from the jump—felt like a place where everyone knows each other, but newcomers are still welcome. Locals at the bar, couple of regulars playing games in the corner, and the staff chatting like it’s just another day in paradise.
It’s not quite a dive bar, but has that same laid-back, no-BS charm. Heard good things about the steak sandwich—can confirm it lives up to the hype. Solid lunch spot with a comfortable vibe, decent menu, and just enough grit to keep it real.

I lost my backpack Friday night and called Carlees in the morning they did not have it but within a hr the girl watched video for me and called me back. What wonderful help she was. A+++.

The bartenders are great particularly Abby who is a long time worker there but a word of caution on the owner, Jake. Jake used to be a Pewaukee detective but the county of Waukesha disbanded this group. Jake was arrested while he was a police officer for beating up an out of town guy and breaking his wrist, at Carleee's. Sometimes macho, booze, and authority don't mix well.

Nice hangout, but not good service.Bartenders weren't paying attention to me standing there with a $20 dollar bill, waiting to be served. No service at their tables. I gave this place a 2 Star, only because they have above average bar food.
