I’ve been to Casa Tequilla on at least three different occasions. I wasn’t impressed with my first visits and thought the food was just “okay” at best. I recently stopped in again for lunch out of convenience and am now regretting that choice. I ordered the taco carnitas. The chips and salsa that are standard were nothing special, salsa isn’t homemade and the chips are cheap store bought tortilla chips. The rice and beans on the side were sadly the best part of the meal and they were absolutely average. The tacos came on corn tortillas per my request with the pulled pork, cilantro and onion. The pork looked pale as I’m sure it came out of some leftover container in the refrigerator and the juice had all seeped out of the meat along with the flavor. The corn tortillas were very mushy and it was obvious that the whole thing was constructed from the fridge and then microwaved before topping with the cilantro and onion. I have to be honest and had a moment where I did wonder if this was safe to eat. Fast forward about 45 min and I was desperately looking for a restroom and afterwards I had several minutes of clammy cold sweats. The bill got three tacos and a Diet Coke plus tax was almost $20. I tipped $5 as the service was friendly and attentive but don’t think I’ll ever be going back.

IF YOU ARE VEGETARIAN.... The VEGETARIAN portion of the menu does NOT tell you the truth. The rice is made with chicken broth, and the pinto beans are made with lard. The older guy that took our order wasn't forthright about this until we really grilled him. Be careful.

Being from Texas, I assume that Mexican restaurants would be good everywhere I go. How disappointing it is to find out that these people cook to appease the gringos. The food is bland, the beans come from a can, and the rice has no spices whatsoever. I had the parillada, and the little pieces of meat had no seasoning on it and way too many veggies on it. It also had potatoes on it. Potatoes!!!! I don't understand how any restaurant won't make homemade tortillas!!! I think I'm going to give up on these places. They just plain out suck.

Long standing restaurant has great food. Unfortunately the horrific service overshadows the food. Expect a long wait regardless of whether they are busy. I've given up on mobile orders. They'll be twice the wait you are given.

Huge shout out to Casa Tequila in West Bend for my experience tonight. My 2.5 year old son had a puking incident there and the staff were all so kind. Our waitress, other waiters/waitresses in our area, and the woman who came over to help clean things up were so wonderful and also so nice to my son. No one looked disgusted or irritated. It was just amazing. The service is always great there, and same with the food. Thank you Casa Tequila West Bend, I will never forget your kindness in a stressful situation.

Ate there with friends after 9pm and the staff did not rush us. Our food came out FAST and it was delicious! Drinks were cold and very good.
Restaurant itself is large and open and out server was very nice. The salsa was good and so was the cheese dip. Unfortunately had some issues with the seafood the shrimp had a terrible smell we ended up sending it back, the chipotle sauce for the fish tacos was not good and the fish itself tasted a little off.

Been coming to this restaurant for many years. Food is generally great but the service is terrible. The last 3 times we went the waitress/waiter never came back to ask how everything was. Today I was the only person in there except for 2 people at the bar. The adult waiter is RUDE as well. I'm done patronizing this establishment. Very poor customer service!

People were mean and terrible, recent news also showed that they underpaid workers and stole money from them in which case seems possible when I ate there 2 days ago. They are very unorganized as they had many parties and no room to put them and just put tables down randomly. Not only that, but the one in waukesha etc are doing many illegal things again such as underage serving and having a lot of underage kids drinking, Even on the job.
