I give them a 3.5. I ordered margaritas and a steak taco dinner. Margarita's were great - I would go back just for those! The steak in the taco's had flavor, so I liked that. My advice for the restaurant is to double wrap the taco's with two corn shells because my taco fell apart right away. I had to eat one with a fork. The beans were good. My rice was cold. Small rice & beans portion, but that was fine with me. Someone who eats more, may need extra food. We didn't order chips n salsa because there's an extra charge for them. We're not big eaters, so we skipped order that.
The atmosphere - it was really loud, but that's because the tables are so close together. The lady at the table next to me was screaming in my ear talking with her group. People need to be mindful of their voice projection in a tight space like this.

Drinks are fine. View is great. Service is good. But... to say this is authentic Mexican food? Ha! Far from it. There are many better places. It's absolutely flavorless, and lacking in so many ways. I really have no idea why this place is so popular.

We made reservations to be outside and did not get it. Also the food we ordered wasn't right for an appetizer and had to send it back. Food allergies... They never came back to the table to see if we wanted to order. Also the entire staff looked annoyed to be there. I would not recommend and will not return.

Nice view of Pewaukee Lake with outdoor eating area. We were expecting better tasting meals based, on prevous years experience. The enchilada dinner was disappointing. Sorry!

The food was excellent and our server was very attentive. Sitting outside by Pewaukee lake is beautiful, although traffic gets a little noisy at times.

Went on a Saturday afternoon and although the patio was busy, the inside was not. The younger staff was inexperienced and it took almost 5 minutes for someone bring waters and take our order. The chips were poured out of a bag and the amount of pico should be 3 times the amount for the number of chips given. The house margarita was decent and my kid really liked the lemonade! After seeing orders coming out of the kitchen, all garnished with sour cream drizzle, and the lack of and next to no vegetarian options, we paid the check and left to go eat somewhere else. I get it that beggars can't be choosers out there and the location is prime, yet not worth my money again....

Our food was over salted and sauces were too sweet. The chipotle sauce tasted like miracle whip with a touch of orange coloring. I'm sad to say we could've had better Mexican food at Taco Bell at a fraction of the price.

Good little taco shop. Great atmosphere.
This is one of our favorite places. Food is really good, we usually go with the burritos and tamales, but I hear the street tacos are excellent too.
Recommend spicy tilapia on corn tacos ~$15 and a shrimp enchiladas ~$18. Great ambience as facing the lake but has limited seating inside and could be crowded on a busy day. Expect small portions and menu is little pricy.
The food and drinks are always good! I have celiac disease, and they have plenty of GF options.
I had the enchilada platter which was excellent! The guacamole was super fresh and chunky.
