They had really good food. We went on a Monday which was Margarita Monday. They had good service and many choices. Interesting concept of going up and ordering your food. It worked out great.

Feels like a fancy Taco Bell - cafeteria environment. Over priced for what it is. Burrito was small and extremely oily - no substance to it. The taco was “ok”. Paid ~ $80 with that tip. Not worth it. Won’t be going back. +
Oh and tip starts at 20%.. 22 and 28.. for a cafeteria environment.

This is a gem hidden in the fields of Wisconsin. Great food - both the taste and presentation. Pleasant space and people.

I've been in Waukesha a long time and have never been here! I was missing out! :)
I love the atmosphere and decoration style in this restaurant, and the staff was friendly. I got pork carnitas and they were delicious!
Will be returning soon!

My experience here was very bittersweet. We received a kids' size amount of chips, and the portions were pretty small. The chips were free but were served in a very small basket. This restaurant is only appropriate for one or two people dining. The chips tasted stale and overcooked. The salsa was okay, kind of lacked flavor. The horchata was pretty good, I really enjoyed it. I put in an order of the quesadilla. They looked kids sized and only came with sour cream. I was pretty disappointed that the tortillas were so tiny and cost 14 dollars! I paid full price for something that cost the same as a quesadilla with filling of veggies or meat. That just doesn't make any sense. The little quesadillas and a cup of horchata cost me $20. I was extremely disappointed. The food is overpriced, and I don't see myself coming back. You can literally make this at home, and for the price, you can feed your whole family. I understand inflation isn't helping, but the south side of milwaukee has affordable tacos and quality food. I am mexican, lived in Cali, and have tasted tacos across the US and Mexico. If you want Authentic latinx food, there are a lot of restaurants on the south side of milwaukee who are worth your buck. Some are Arandas, Azteca, Ricanmex. These are just a few of many!

Vegetarian options: There are veggie options but only so much you can get veggie friendly.

Kid-friendliness: High chairs. The atmosphere was more so a cafe style restaurant.

Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs.

You have to order at the counter which is fine, but the poor girl had no help as a young lady was standing next to her doing absolutely nothing. We order the food and I asked if I could have a fresh jalapeño with my guacamole, she asked the kitchen and they said they didn’t have it. I questioned that seeing that the plate I ordered said it came with a grilled jalapeño, which you use fresh jalapeños. I also upgraded my plate for a meal after I was told that there was more than soda on the fountain (I don’t drink soda) I go and try to get lemonade or HiC and it wasn’t working. Sooo I went and stood in line to let them know it wasn’t working and if I could have something else. Some man said he’ll take a look at it it a minute. Go sit down and take a bite of the guac and it was browning and tasted old so I go and stand in line AGAIN to order 2 sides of avocado so I can make my own guac on the table. As I’m in line the man (I assume he’s the manager or owner) goes by the sodas and then comes and tells me that it works! He doesn’t know why it didn’t when I tried but ummm it’s working fine. I apologized a few times and swore to him I tried it a few times before I said anything. You guys…. My friend was sitting at the table and seen press it, nothing came out and then seen HIM TURN THE KEY to turn it on! He made me feel as if I was making it up when he turned the key to turn it on. Now our food comes, my friend thought she was ordering 2/3 tacos and upgraded it for a drink and 2 sides for almost $13, she got 1 taco! The food was bland but I will say, the lady busing the tables was on it and very sweet. After all of this, my bill was $60, I tipped 20% and we’re still hungry.

Had an amazing dish called “Chipotle Pollo”. It came with yuca, mushrooms, goat cheese and much more. Some of my favorite foods in one dish. It was delicious, and I felt light after eating. The horchata was delicious as well.

Staff were friendly and the establishment was welcoming and clean. This is an easy recommendation.

I remember the old taco amigo which that concept works better in this little space (cheap but delicious Mexican/Latin food) but now the space/concept is confusing. Remodeled space but now the little strip mall taqueriera charges $20-40 a dish for the same walk up to the counter to order concept (

$15.00 for a margarita?). Food is good but way overpriced for the counter order taqueriera
