The Chocolate Factory

Been here a couple of times. This time we stopped in after having dinner in the area. It's a good experience but not outstanding. The staff did good job helping us out with our selection, and offering up their favorites.

It was 8:30 on Wednesday, we were the only ones there. They started cleaning up all around us, vacuuming and taking the rugs up. Definitely felt like we were in the way. So we hurried up without cups of ice cream and left.

Ordered and our food and one of the orders was made wrong. The staff member behind the counter proceeded to argue with me that they made it correctly even thought they didn't. Absolutely ridiculous that they made it seem like I was in the wrong for their mistake.

We stopped in for ice cream and were promptly greeted. We sampled a few flavors - all delicious - and LOVE that they also have dairy free options! The vegan oat milk ice cream was second only to the friendly service. We are greatly looking forward to our next visit.

Dietary restrictions: Vegan ice cream was indistinguishable from regular ice cream.

Really good food, really nice view, and not too expensive. It's definitely worth another visit.

Friendly staff, very clean and great view of the beach! They always have new flavors of ice cream for me to try and many unique offerings. Small local business at its finest!

I can't rate the food yet. It's now 50 minutes after I ordered on line. I have watched them fill orders for people who arrived a half hour after I ordered. I can't understand why orders aren't filled in the same order they're received.

I live quite close, so my family occasionally gets some ice cream for my brother. They have many great options for the ice cream, and they also sell other options, such as sandwiches, subs, chips, and so much more.

Horrible customer service, staff was horribly rude. Obnoxiously telling me I was being impatient after waiting 20 minutes with little to no line. Marcus and Lola are the one people who actually tried to make the experience better.

I have always thought their food and ice cream were very good. The service is good. They do get extremely busy in the summer months because the beach is just across the street. Lots of teenagers and family go there for lunch. The Chocolate Factory is always a destination expected whenever I have children visiting. It is one of the many gems located in downtown Pewaukee.

Parking: It is busy seasonally. Driving by the beach to the lot can be a little challenging since the street is narrow there. I would rather park in back. Enter near the coffee shop.

Wheelchair accessibility: It is a bit of a tight squeeze inside because of all the people. The counters for the ice cream are a bit high. Booth seating as well as tables.
