Thunder Bay Grille Pewaukee

Been there several times, recently. Always moderately busy, but almost never a wait.

Food always arrives hot and prepared as expected. They have never made a mistake on an order (that I can recall).

It is not "cheap" but that's a good thing. Portions are generous. Items are freshly cooked; not sitting and waiting.

Servers have been friendly, engaging, and almost always know the menu better than we do. No fault intended; sometimes people are in training, but still do a very good job of handling customers.

We were there for a birthday party & everything was great. We were a party of 17. The food came out all together. It tasted great. Service was excellent.

I had the Salmon Alfredo and it was amazing. Shannon was the server and she did a wonderful job as well as the atmosphere. A great place to go and relax.

Held a seminar here. Service was fantastic. Guests were extremely complimentary of the food. Great space & atmosphere.

Service was great, but nothing was seasoned. Calamari, cheese curds, and fish & chips all tasted the exact same, incredibly bland. French onion soup was good, mashed potatoes were good, and shrimp was good. Salad bar was solid.

We were a large group gathering after a funeral. They had only one server to take care of about 25 people. So, service was glacial. I'm not impressed.

First time visiting this place and will definitely return. Staff was very friendly and the food was delicious.

Wasn't impressed. Hardly anything to choose from on the menu. Very pricey for basic food. My burger was rubbery. The waitress gave us very little attention and took forever for drinks and to take our order. I think they may have charged a gratuity as well but not sure. They had no other sandwiches except burgers was disappointing and expensive.

Peter was absolutely great with the service tonight! He checked in from time to time (and thankfully not mid bite like most servers do) and was super friendly! Also, the kitchen staff prepared everything perfectly! We will absolutely be back, and thank you for making our date night special!

If you are in the area Thunder Bay Grille is a must stop for lunch or dinner or even brunch on a Sunday. Service was amazing, and food options are plentiful.

Great choices, nice atmosphere

We stopped in for dinner on a weekday evening. We were quickly seated. There was an event going on in the back behind a large black curtain. We ordered cheese curds and crab cakes for appetizers. I ordered the salmon, and the others at the table ordered walleye, a cheeseburger, chicken, and macaroni and cheese kids meal. All the food was just okay except for the cheese curds. Those were great!

The waiter seemed annoyed we were there. She was not friendly, and her serving skills were below average. Perhaps both would have been improved if she wasn't so bothered. Maybe she felt overworked because there was an event going on, although I'm not sure she was assigned to assist with the event.

I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

Had the Sunday brunch today and EVERYTHING we had was outstanding. Very nice experience, will definitely be going back soon
