Terrible experience on new years. The shorter red head bartender was terrible. We were there at 5:15 to grab a drink and burger. She was pissed we even wanted to order. Then super annoyed we asked about food. My husband asked if they had any porters for beer. She said yes and gave him a coors. She clearly heard him and couldn’t take a second to say yes or no. When our food was ready I went to the bar to get the baskets. She was annoyed and brought them to our table. Threw the baskets on the table and left. The people next to us got a pizza and she brought it out to them folded in half. The only time she was nice was when we had to pay the bill and she was waiting for her tip. I understand new years is a busy night. I have bartended for years in a much busier environment. There was no reason for her to be so rude. Most people were leaving the bar early. Not sure we will be back, this is always a stop for us.

Carrisa is the BEST!.. we are newbies. As we walked in, she greeted us and asked us what we were drinking, as we went to a table.. promptly waited on us at the table. She suggested the sandwich of the month. A breakfast burger. VERY GOOD!!She handles the crowd very well... We always hope she's working when we are in town.10 stars for this gal!!!**********
Went for the broasted chicken. It was very good. Offered a choice of white or dark meat. Cole slaw was fresh and very good. My husband had a taco salad and said it was also very good. Will definitely go back.

Great bar & grill. The food is delicious (especially the pizza) and always very clean. Carissa the manager is so pleasant and runs a tight ship.Candy the bartender is great at her job too. Highly recommend The Great Escape. We have never been disappointed.

One of the best priced places have found snowmobiling up north. Pizza is one of the best I have had. Draft beer selection is good. Staff is very friendly. Great place to stop
