Hillside restaurant is 100% hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time! The food was out-of-this-world delicious, every bite was amazing. The service was incredible too, everyone was so friendly and made us feel right at home. And the drinks? Absolutely perfect! You can tell they put so much love and effort into everything. Can’t stop thinking about it already we can’t wait to come back because two nights in a row was definitely not enough. And let me tell you this kitchen was immaculate, I watched the owner and her staff clean that thing like crazy. Incredibly clean. Great job Julie, keep up the good work!

The Phelps Hillside Resort waterfront cabins are perfect for your up north retreat. Clean, cozy with a rustic charm that makes you want to never leave! The docks are available for your boats or rent one from the Resort. There’s a fire pit and beachfront access. The staff are amazing and available should you need assistance. The popular Hillside Restaurant is also located on the same grounds as the resort and the food is nothing short of amazing. The bike trails are a short distance from the resort and absolutely amazing! I am still dreaming (and drooling) about the Bruschetta Burger I had for dinner here a few nights ago. Now I wonder why all burgers don't come smothered in garlic Boursin cheese! It was one of the best burgers I've ever had. Service was attentive and kind- from the hostess, to the friendly bartender, to our server in the dining room. Can't wait to come back!

Hillside Resort has new owners again with edgewater property management handling all bookings and services. (Katy, Amy, & Patty) went out of there way to ensure our clan was well taken care of. Completely renovated cabins with modern amenities including AC with cabins literally 15 ft from shore. The Resturaunt is still serving excellent menu & the fish fry & prime rib specials on Friday & Saturday are very good. Bar is a great place to relax and mingle either locals & vacationers. Great place for both hardcore fishers & family fun vacation.

We came in for a Friday fish fry on my husband’s birthday and had an absolutely wonderful experience! The staff is warm, welcoming and their personalities just shine. Our trips to the salad bar for delicious clam chowder and bountiful salad fixings rounded out the excellent fried (and not greasy) cod. Portions were generous and the sweet potato fries were outstanding. The experience could not have been better and I highly recommend this restaurant!

Went for dinner and it didn't disappoint. Cool little place tucked away next to the lake. Food and drinks were excellent. Would go back for sure

I spent Saturday night at one of the cabins and had dinner at the restaurant. The room was clean and welcoming. The prime rib was excellent. My friend and I plan on doing this more often.
