Never had a bad meal. Have been there for breakfast and dinner. Always satisfied. Had my husbands birthday celebration with 12 people at Northwoods. I did make reservations because it is the right thing to do. The food and waitress were fantastic. The owner came over to wish him a happy birthday also. Northwoods is a great place to go. I highly recommend.

I would 100% recommend this place! They went above and beyond to reserve us a table even though they were expecting a large funeral crowd (we told them a day before about our 10 person group coming) and made sure we got our food quickly. Everyone was so nice and on top if things despite being busy. We have not had service and kindness like this at a restaurant in a long time. It helps that the food was excellent as well! If your over that way, stop in and give them a chance. we will definatly be back!

Awesome Friday night fish fry. We had the deep fried Walleye. It was fantastic. I worked at supper clubs and know my fish!! This is on the top of the list. $20, but well worth it. The waitresses were friendly. The Ice Tea was even excellent!!! The dinner roll was out of this world, the cross between a buttery biscuit and a dinner roll. French fries were seasoned perfectly and nice and crisp. We loved so much we went back for Sandwiches the next night. French dip was really good and the pulled pork my honey had was up there too!

We went and had their prime rib, very good just the way we wanted it. We went with friends, they had the piled high chicken, and a wrap, said it was delicious. We will definitely be dining there again!

If you’re looking for a delicious prime rib the Northwoods is the place to go. I recommend the blackened prime rib, the best I’ve had and I have tried prime rib from establishments from all over the state. From breakfast to dinner they have it mastered. Check it out you’ll be hooked.
