On our trip from Northern Ireland, My wife and I went here on Saturday 6th Dec for Lunch as we were out for a drive waiting for friends to arrive in Green Bay to join us for the Packers game the next day, and the welcome we received was amazing. The staff are awesome and the food is 10 out of 10, totally recommend the Cheese Curds ...... Beautiful ! Everything was so good value and cheap, and the service was excellent, will definitely go back again.

Our family stopped in for lunch the day after Thanksgiving and absolutely fell in love with this place! The people were so friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere was relaxed and cozy and the food was outstanding. We can’t say enough good things about R Bar. We will definitely be back when we find ourselves passing through Plainfield again!

Ordered bluegill dinner. Wish the fish was deep fried alittle longer, but it was still delicious. Same thing for the fries and coleslaw. Definitely will return!

My absolute favorite place to go when we are in town. Best people great food and great prices ? ? ? and love that you can put a breakfast together with just the items you want vs paying for extras you won't eat.

Had fish fry! Fish was good, light batter. Fries were undercooked almost hard. Should have sent back. Bartender was very kind but didn’t get a second beer even though I had empty on the edge. Cook friendly also.
