The food is excellent, but there are two people who leave you speechless. The owner should look into this because they could lose several customers due to such poor service.

They have $2 taco Thursdays... And it's so delicious! These aren't the little tacos... They're the regular sized tortillas. I've had the steak and carnitas tacos and both are very tender, juicy, and flavorful. If I lived around here I'd be dining here every weekend...or 3-4 times a week... 😂 My coworker had a burrito the other day and it was huge. He said it was so good.

Rodrigo our waiter was the Best! When my family and I walked in, we were greeted by several staff right away with smiles. The chips and salsa were great, the lunch specials were perfect! Service was super fast! Deep fried ice cream was yummy! We are definitely making this our go place when visiting!

Nice place with great food. Not fancy. Downtown Platteville. It takes 3 storefronts. Carry out in the middle, Mexican grocery on the right and dining room on the left. An inexperienced waiter took our order and made a few mistakes. Someone came and quickly corrected those mistakes. Food was excellent. We never complained but I got the bill and there was a 25% discount on. When I asked why they said it was compensation for the difficulty. Nice people. We will definitely be back.

Los Amigos is our go-to restaurant in P'Ville. The food is always delicious, and the service is super fast. The staff always smiles as we walk in and makes us feel genuinely welcome! My new favorite dish is the Mojarra Frita - the outside of the fish is so crispy and the inside is cooked perfectly! I have other favs like the Fajita Combo (I get three meals out of this!) and the Chile Relleno diner (at least two meals worth of food!) My husband ordered the Shrimp Chimichanga on the last couple of visits and really enjoyed those. Oh - and their guacamole? Always so creamy and scrumptious! And don't forget the margarita!

Were are from Dallas in visiting friends and the tacos and enchiladas and beans and rice were excellent. Love the habanaro sauce on the table too. Gave us Pico de gallo also excellent. We'll be back!

Food was decent. Service was poor. Had to ask for silverware after he brought my food.. Not a big deal. It happens. He didn't ask if I wanted a refill, even though my cup gets set at the edge of the table when it's empty. That is a big deal... No.. it wasn't busy! 2 waiters. 4 tables. 1 should have been sufficient. He actually took my plate as I'm giving this review. Didn't ask if I wanted a refill. See if he inquires when I get my bill. ⏰️

On a side note. I had so much time to spare while writing this review, that I proof read it 2x. Then I added these words while I waited. Sometimes you just need something to keep yourself occupied while you wait.., to keep yourself busy while you wait. I just deleted the fact that I'm usually a great tipper. He won't likely see that side of me, because he won't be receiving a tip from me for his poor skills as a waiter. He's obviously overpaid already. Yes. I'm still waiting for my bill 15 minutes later. Contemplating as to whether or not I should continue rambling on while I continue to wait for a bill that may never come. I'll spare everyone. Take care, and please choose wisely when eating out. Ordered dinner for 3 people and 2 of the orders were incorrect. Asked for no onions on a burrito, recieved a metric ton of onions. Ordered Enchiladas Rancheras and didn't receive rice or beans. Not just a small oversight; it changes the entire meal. Sloppy and careless. Gotta do better. Staff was very polite.

My wife and I get take out quite frequently. 3 times now when I order nachos and salsa I get home and it is missing from my order. The food is always excellent but communication from ordering to kitchen needs to improve.

Their website says "Best fajitas in town," and it's true! My husband and I split the combo fajitas with an extra order of flour tortillas, and the mozzarella-topped fajitas were hot, flavorful, and hit the spot! I have to mention how our experience even started deliciously with their fresh chips and salsa. This place's salsa had a little kick, which is so refreshing since many places keep it really mild. Their queso was a beautiful compliment to the chips, and our server was very friendly. Service was very quick, and we received coupons at the end! The pricing is very reasonable for how much food we got. I'm so happy and would love the privilege of dining here again sometime. ¡Gracias, Los Amigos!
