Was up checking out the college with my daughter and found this place on Yelp for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. It's a bar, but about as basic as bar can get. Napkins are paper-towels off the roll, when asked for additional napkins we were given a stack of cocktail napkins. Had to ask for silverware and the plastic glasses all smelled like bleach. Only one person appeared to be working both the bar and table area, service was a little bit on the slow side, but the gentleman was polite and accommodating. Cheese Curds were good, nothing spectacular and the quantity received was on the small side compared to what you might get at other establishments. They were out of tortillas so there were no wrap options. For a Saturday, not sure how they could run out already by lunch time. Sunday, dinner? Maybe??? I could understand, but going into a weekend? How is your kitchen not fully stocked? Main meals were hearty and good (burger & cheese stake), but again, nothing really special. All in all the food was nothing out of the ordinary and the place is just basic.

Stopped by the ticket for a late lunch ordered the chicken cheese steak chicken had no flavor or seasoning fries were good atmosphere felt like I shouldn't have been there especially not eating but the bar keep Taylor helped soften the mood she seemed like a really nice personOver all I wouldn't go back felt weird and out of place thereThe 1 star was because of Taylor

The ticket is a great place to catch sports and food in the old downtown district of platteville with an ambiance of good people there is never a bad time at the ticket. The service is quick and they go over and above to take care of you, just let them know and it will be done! The food here is amazing, I personally always get the BLT with fresh lettuce and tomatoes with crispy bacon on some lightly butter crispy toast! I will be recommending to all who come to platteville for sure and if you haven't stopped by yet make sure you do! Friendly staff, good food and awesome location! The only reason I gave 5 stars is bc I couldn't give more! Thank you for all you guys do and keep up the good work!
