I did not like the food.

Really good Mexican restaurant! Great service as we were greeted and seated immediately. Our server took our drink order right away. The chips and three styles of salsa were fantastic! Menu options were plentiful. Our dinners arrived quickly and they were tasty. The beans and the rice are excellent. Our server was great: very attentive and helpful. This restaurant will go into our regular rotation for dinners in the future.

Fun environment with tiki type atmosphere. The recipes in this place are unique. I ordered ground beef tacos and personally didn't care for the slight black licorice (anise) flavor in the meat. My husband ordered the quesobirria, and we could taste a hint of cinnamon in the meat. That unexpected flavor was delightful. Chips come with 3 dishes of salsa as there are 3 levels of spicy to suit individuals heat tolerance.
I would recommend this place. If there were a Michigan location, I would most likely be a frequent visitor.

Starting off, the atmosphere and aesthetic of the restaurant is amazing! It definitely feels like a specialty restaurant.

The service was solid. Had no complaints as everything came out pretty quick.

Finally the food and drinks. I had a watermelon margarita and it was amazing! It was like a jolly rancher in a glass! The chips and sauces were good and not too spicy. My main course was the Trios Burritos. The rice was very good, but the burritos I found to be just ok. The beef one was my favorite and was the best of the bunch. The chicken felt hard and a little over cooked in my opinion.

It was also my girlfriend's birthday and we got the birthday surprise which we got as Flan. The flan was 10/10 would definitely get again!

Overall I would recommend stopping here and I plan on coming back.

I had a great experience. Our waiter Joe was perfect, friendly,and on the ball… The salsa is super fresh. Their mole sauce is off the charts delicious. I had vegetarian chimichangas and they were wonderful. I went with my friend. She had the Carnitas tacos and she loved them. My margarita was delicious. I will definitely go back.

Don't go expecting normal tacos or yummy margaritas...I know tacos with toppings like meat, tomatoes, lettuce, cheese, etc but these tacos were shredded chicken in some kind of orangy brown sauce topped with ONLY cilantro. That's it! The sides of refried beans were like pork n beans out of a can with barely something mixed in-couldn't figure out what it was. Rice was, meh, tasteless! Oh, and margs were not freshly made and waaaay too tangy, like a cheap premix. Waitress was fun. Floors outside were sticky.
Sorry to be so blunt, but take pride in your food & drinks!! Folks can barely afford to go out much and we expect decent food, not stuff a teenager would throw together to eat.

They have outstanding food and an outstanding team!!! We were there today to celebrate my lady's birthday. I secretly told them and they all came out and sang happy birthday to her!!!

The food was amazing! I had a chicken fajita bowl - the seasonings were slightly different than what I was used to and it was outstanding!!!! Strawberry daquiri - YUM! My daughter is gf intolerant and was able to eat the nachos without any issue and loved them!! Ambience is inviting with tiki grass effects and strategic overhead lighting.

The patio is nice. I would only give the food a 3/5. Not as good as a more authentic steak taco.

DO NOT GO HERE! Iguana Wana fraudulently charged my debit card and will not reimburse us until they get the other separate party to come forward and pay for their under charge. My wife and I shared the Floutas, each had one beverage and our daughter ordered the pb&j. When the waitress brought the bill, she showed the card reader total for $30.28. I gave her my card. She said the card reader had some issue and she needed to manually type my card in. (Or steal my info?) She then handed me the card reader back to sign. She then went to the next separate party and collected their bill in cash. Their bill was for $92.52. When I got home, she retroactively charged my debit card $92.52. I have been back to the establishment mutiple times to talk with Pat Patterson the owner and chase his son and manager. Even though they have verified through surveillance footage of what my family ordered compared with what we were charged, they will not correct the charge to me until they get ahold of the separate party and have then compensate for their under payment. This is flat out THEFT! I am sure the other party will never come forward as this either was a mistake on businesses part, or a flat out theft by the waitress, and they paid their bill in full in cash. Which I also am not ruling out. Do not go here unless you want to risk erroneous charges after the fact to your card. Iguana Wana will never get our business again!

Only suggest going here if you're looking to drink. Most disgusting "Mexican" food I've ever had!! Chips had no salt and guacamole was bland, "Enchiladas" were covered in salsa instead of red sauce.
