We needed a good Italian restaurant in our lives!!!! It used to be Dave's Italian in Evanston... or Carmen's also in Evanston... it's been almost a decade - but we have one now! Home made meatballs, hand cut gnocchi, thin crust almost as good as Imos, and thick crust as good as Carmen's! You've won us, Ruffalo! Thank you!

I was part of a large (10) group of friends who met at Ruffolos for dinner. We made reservations for 5pm on a Sunday night. It was all of ours first time at this restaurant. The Ruffolos name is sort of legendary in the Kenosha area for Italian cuisine. I assume there is a connection to another Ruffolo restaurant in Kenosha. The dining room is spacious. A fun looking bar overlooks the dining tables. The group pushed some tables together for our big group. There were several groups out to eat, at least one of which was as large as ours. Our waitress took our orders and she was skilled at her job and her experience showed. She may have been the only waitress working that night. It was a very long wait for our food and it was on the verge of being uncomfortable when it was served. The food is very good.
