China King Chinese Restaurant: Take Out

Carrots!!! In everything we ordered! Fried rice was terrible. No flavor. Carrots! Two inch egg rolls. Kung pao shrimp was bland and shrimp tasted dirty. Carrots! Unfriendly girl taking orders. Never again.

I know tender crisp but raw veggies. Had to remove all veggies and steam from a few minutes

Called to place an order and the lady was so rude. She asked if I had the right restaurant and said I needed to look at the menu online.
I've been ordering from here for literally 20 years. So sad. No reason to ever treat customers so rude.

I am not one to post something like this. I handle these things in person…but this is a different scenario..

I called to order Chinese from China King in Port.

I simply started ordering…

“Can I please have an order of general tso chicken with chow mein instead of rice?”

She said,
“Do you mean lo mein?”

I said
“Oh yes”

She said
“I don’t even know what that means but okay we dont substitute the rice for lo mein anymore because were sick of people complaining”

I then said
“ okay I’ll pay for a whole order”

Then I ordered crab Rangoon

She said
“You mean the crab cream cheese wonton?”

I said
“Yes, I’m sorry, they have crab in them right not just cream cheese?”

She said,
“This is china king in port Washington, did you call the wrong place because i can tell you didnt even look at our menu?”

**i was in a hurry and on the go trying to get to baseball and the husband wanted Chinese so no i did not look at the menu.**

I said
“No this is my first time ordering, can I ask why you are being so rude? Im just asking questions about then menu.”

She said,
“Ok bye”

I called back and she ignored my calls multiple times and I called back again on a restricted line…she said, “yeah I hung up on you..you can come in and look at the menu if you want to order”

I asked her if she was the owner and she said no but she’s been there for 30 years.

I am honestly so shocked someone can treat a paying customer this way..I just had questions to make sure i ordered the right things…kindness and good customer service goes a LONG way and I will not be back there…

Unbelievably rude lady answering the phone for take out.

talking to your costumers like they are stupid is not the best business move

Excellent food and take out service. The woman at the counter was very sweet and accommodating. Food was packaged nicely and stayed hot until I got home! LOVE this place!!

Carry out place. Good yet typical Chinese American place. Decent and semi-fast food. Would recommend.

Always the best around Ozaukee county!
Ready fast, always hot when you get home and the friendliest person at the counter.

Lady that answer the phone is rude as can be. But that's not the worst part. The food gave my whole family, old and young, food poisoning. Worst experience ever! Had to notify dept of public health.

1) They never said hello, thank you or good bye when they answered the phone

2) ordered 2 combo plates that came with chicken fried rice. The rice wasn't cooked through and the onion was completely raw. When I called to alert them to the issue, the same lady answered the phone who took my order, and she could of cared less about the issue.

There are plenty of other dining issues in the immediate area - go there! . And there are other Chinese restaurants to order from who actually have pride in their product and service.I suggest letting your feet do the talking and taking your business there. You have zero recourse for an crappy, expensive meal at China King.

Would never go back to this place again, they forgot the rice Mushu beef was burnt horrible experience never again

Ok so maybe it's dusty and doesn't offer alot of seating room. But the food is FIRE. This is by far the BEST Chinese food around. The price for what you get is amazing too! I definitely would say Best In Area for food and service
