Java Dock ranks near the top of my list of best coffee I’ve ever had. Also, you’re not going to find a better scone or brunch-type food than what Java Dock makes freshly.

Love this place! It can get busy in the mornings on the weekend, and that can add a nice buzz to the day.

I used to love Java dock. In highschool a big group of us came here everyday and there were couches, It was down to earth, natural, cool. I came up to the outdoor window for the first time which is a great idea that wasn’t used before, with my dog. The employee was moving around opening fridges, there was no one in side so I waited to not be rude with the bell and obviously she could see me and finally I said something. I had 30 minutes and this was a rare treat because I had 40 dollars in my bank account for two weeks, my dog lives in a kennel in my parents garage every day 24 hours a day except for the time I take him out because I’ve almost died and been in bed the last year. I’m trying to get my life back together and give my dog what he deserves. I was friendly with the blonde haired girl in her mid twenties wearing a band t-shirt for the cure, told her when I saw them live asked her about music. Whatever. I ordered a medium cafe aulait with milk alternative and asked for whipped cream for my dog. She set down the drink and said here’s your drink went to the other counter and looked back with a dirty look. If what she really wanted to say is “this isn’t Starbucks” the proper answer would be, ‘I apologize I can’t do the whipped cream.’ She charged me over $7 dollars I think it was $7.15. Which is insane. The same drink at two other places is under $6 I waited a bit but the dirty look implied that’s a no, so then my bank account was down to $32.80 and I drank my Luke warm milk mixed with coffee, and my dog was getting a 15 minute walk for this 24 hours and no treat. I take my dog to McDonald’s after the dog park and I just order a hamburger for him and the other day they came out with a little cup of ice-cream for him we didn’t ask for it was so nice. I guess it takes life experience to know how hard life can be and how your interaction impacts others.

Lovely people and great drinks and service! The atmosphere is rather cold - I remember what it looked like before the remodel and was disappointed when I went recently with my friends to find out all the conversational seating and cute mis-matched chairs were replaced and now everything is painted grey. (Also please note the shop not handicap accessible as the only seating is upstairs). I love the cafe's guitar and games available upstairs by the seating and the food and service are great!Dietary restrictions: Dairy-free and gluten-free optionsParking: Public parking available next to building and street parking too

I’ve been coming to Java Dock for almost 15 years now. Coffee is phenomenal, food is phenomenal, staff is phenomenal, and the atmosphere is relaxing. I could not have anything better to say about this place. It’s near and dear to my heart.

The cafe wasn’t open over the holidays when we went to visit but the peppermint coffee and the strawberry smoothie was delicious. The local artwork, photography and paintings in the upstairs seating area makes it feel really comfortable for an outing with friends. It was quiet upstairs and the sunlight from all the windows was really nice even on an overcast day.

So happy to have found this place with husband, while son was in school!!Coffee(s) review:Shangri Late is amazing, coconut and macadamia nut flavor is very good, NO artificial flavor at all. Had it iced, coffee quality is delicious.Salty Dog iced is really good for that salted caramel (great quality) craving, with a light chocolate hint, more flavor coming from the good quality coffee and salted Carmel.Breakfast bagel sandwiches:Bagel tastes really goodEggs cooked to perfection.Sunrise Bagel- bacon quality is aaamaazziinngg (picky bacon person here) red, not very fatty, flavorful, crispy bacon! The garlic aoli did NOT disappoint, not overwhelming, as I just finished eating 5 minutes ago and no garlic taste lingers (thanks to good coffee too)...Bagel sausage egg- Sausage flavor is very good, not too thin or too thick patty.Spicy (not too SPICY?) & sweet sauce is good, as a person who can't deal with spice, i would get LIGHT sauce, or on the side.Overall, definitely going to be having a lot more items off the menu in the future!Upstairs seating. Outdoor "patio" too.

I have only been here once as I am not from the area (anymore) and had a good experience. Everyone was very friendly and provided good service! I ordered a sweet potato and black bean wrap, and it was great. One of the best wraps I’ve ever tried. I also got one of their special lattes and enjoyed it as well. My mom and my brothers also liked their meals. I do not like potato chips but my family said they were very good. I did try a few of them. If I’m ever in the area again, I’d love to stop again! Highly recommend this café. It is also a cute and cozy placeVegetarian options: Multiple types of food choices available for vegetarianWheelchair accessibility: Not accessible

Coffee good. Bagels to die for. But, a little under staffed for the Holiday weekend so service was a little slow.
