We were visiting for the day and in our RV. We got carryout because of having our dog with us. We were able to find parking and placed an order easily over the phone. The gentleman who took our order was helpful. Our food was ready quickly and hot when we ate. The brisket sandwich was delicious even though I didn't think to ask for some BBQ sauce. I did get coleslaw which was perfect. We had never tried cheese curds so they were a must. They were great with the ranch dipping sauce. Our dog even had one of the mini brats. If we are back, it would be a place we would visit again.

I ordered a hamburger (because I can’t eat dairy) and it came with JUST a patty and a bun. I asked for some vegetables so I didn’t have to gnaw on a dry piece of meat and the waitress took over 10 minutes (with an extra reminder about my order) to bring me a sad piece of lettuce and a slice of tomato which I was charged an extra dollar for. My entire party finished their meals by the time my valid request was met. My friends also had issues with the lack of condiments on their burgers and sandwiches but didn’t ask for extra because the waitress was so slow it wasn’t worth it. Sad that the service was so slow and the burgers were so bland because the ambiance was great.

Emily was our attentive server and did a fine job. My chicken and wild rice soup was perfect, though the burger was quite greasy. The view from the upper level was perfect, but the music at lunch time was pretty loud. We tried the bar area first, but the music volume (and the swearing volume) was even worse.

Nice place with a stunning view on the lake, a bit unlucky with a foggy weather. Large selection of beers both on tap and in cans/bottles. I wish I was able to try some fried fish, too bad not the right day of the week.

Schooners was a bright spot of an otherwise lack luster day visiting Franklin street. On the way to our car my wife and I smelled the most delicious hamburger smell and followed our noses to Schooners. Bartenders were welcoming and waitresses very friendly. My wife and I ordered hamburger plates. The burgers were the best we have ever eaten. 1/2 pound, juicy, buttery, flavorful, whatever you want on them. French fries had a crispy coating that was really good. Onion rings were typical Culvers type coating. The day was comfortable on their deck and the view is terriffic. Managers, you need to be proud of these employees ( especially the 19 year old young lady who cooked this meal ).

The server was OK but felt to say they charge you three dollars to share a plate now I’m a senior citizen and my daughter does not eat much. She’s disabled and they charge three dollars and didn’t even say that there was a charge. I thought that was ridiculous. I know three dollars is not a lot but you should tell customers And all they didn’t even split the plate. They just gave me a basket. They charged me three dollars for a basket not cool.

hire some bartenders with a personality, who know how to engage in conversation with folks.

My husband and I love this down to earth feeling establishment. We love the deck and the view of the marina. We came up from West Allis today to specifically eat here only to find the kitchen closed on a Saturday?! With no explanation as to why. After a 45 minute drive both ways we didn't want to just turn around and come back to town so we ate at another restaurant with a patio facing the lake. To say the least we were greatly disappointed putting it lightly having to settle for a dining experience that was in our opinions no match for Schooner's at any of our usual measures. I guess the next road trip to Port we make we'll call ahead to make sure they're serving food that weekend we go.
☹️. PS...We still gave 5 stars for the categories because we do know from previous visits how good everything is.

I have been ordering from here for over two years and I must admit I have always enjoyed my food. I came in on Monday, August 25 and order the same meal I always order. My cheese curbs were undercooked where the cheese in the middle was still hard. The breading was soggy and looks like it was only fried for one minute. My onion rings were soggy with wet batter and I had a bloody cheeseburger. I contacted the restaurant by phone and told them of my concern and my displeasure for my meal I was told that someone will call me back in 10 to 15 minutes as of today I have still failed to receive a phone call so I went online to their website and sent an email and told them my concern there. I also let them know that I was not going to do a public review because everybody have bad days and today must have been a bad day. Still no response so I called the restaurant today to avoid my concern once again And there I was rudely spoken to voice was raised at me as if I was an enemy I was told there was nothing we can do for you. You will not get a refund. There was nothing wrong with your food and we don’t care. I asked to speak to a manager, Chuck Who I spoke to told me the manager was busy and I can talk to him. He was very rude, very nasty and seemed as if he was having a bad day. I don’t know if this week Shooners is having a bad experience. And taking it out on me, but for someone to patronize your place for two years, bring her company in order over $200 worth of food at times And to be treated with such disrespect is displeasing to a food industry. To the young man, I spoke to all of the negative things you say to me I reverse them and send them back towards you return to sender.
