Everything about this place! Best restaurant in town. Quality and not overpriced.
I have had brunch, dinner and drinks here and they are all just great!

A bit dark inside. My husband had fried fish which he loved, very crispy and seasoned well. I had baked fish, seemed watery like frozen fish would be. Waitress was young, very professional & quick. Wasn't very busy at lunchtime. Only 3 tables of guests.

Very good food, great atmosphere and service. We were traveling home to Michigan and decided to stop for a quick meal-we both left satisfied and will be back next time we are in WI

This place is an absolute gem and truly set the perfect tone for our day. From the moment we descended into the cool, atmospheric basement location, we knew we were in for a treat. The ambiance is incredibly unique—cozy, charming, and a welcome change from a standard street-level cafe.
The food was nothing short of spectacular. We ordered the Irish Breakfast and the apple pancakes, and both dishes were executed flawlessly. The Irish Breakfast was hearty, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying, while the apple pancakes were light, fluffy, and perfectly sweet, making them a perfect start to the day.
The highlight of our visit, however, was our fantastic server, Cassie. She provided truly exceptional service: attentive, efficient, and genuinely delightful. Cassie kept our coffee mugs perpetually topped off, ensuring we never ran low, and she was a genuine joy to chat with. Her friendly demeanor made the entire meal feel welcoming and relaxed. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. We would highly, highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for great food and even better service.

I got the fish fry and my wife had the Pilgrim (Thanksgiving sandwich with turkey, stuffing cranberries). She loved it. The owner was very nice and gave us great service. The cod in the fish fry was well above average. Will go again. Great atmosphere

A beautiful and quaint location. Knowledgeable bartenders with an extensive Gin collection. Hard rolls for the sandwiches are like the icing on the cake. Oh and they make a great scotch egg!

Old time basement level eatery. Unmarked door entry to basement stairwell. Very chic, think Titanic era.

Really delicious food! I thought I would be freaked out eating in a basement but it was definitely worth it! The carrot cake was the best for sure!

Nice restaurant in the basement of a downtown building. My wife had a vegetarian sandwich which she said was delicious. Had pickled beets and Fuji apples. I had a really good fish sandwich with steak fries. Delicious
