Backwater Bar & Grill

This was a great place to take the whole family for brunch when we vacationed in Melbourne! Highly recommended!

Had a great burger at Backwater Bar and Grill. Maddy, our server, had a great, friendly attitude and gave us prompt service. All around positive experience for our first time. I would definitely recommend trying this place out!

Really nice place, kinda odd for it the be on the 2nd floor but very clean and the staff are really nice, the steak and chicken bowls came out really fast and were delicious definitely need to add at least 1 more tortilla, and have twisted on tap 👍, Nick was amazing and awesome with service

Went for dinner with my wife. It was busy and the server who was great said it was busy and there would be an extra wait. OK, no worries, thanks for the heads up. 1.5 hours later, no food and they said it was still too long of a wait time to quote us a time, after we had ordered, 1.5 hours ago. Ridiculous. Will never go again.

Hair cooked into my pizza and waited 15 minutes for water. Had to ask twice and the waitress didn’t apologize

This is a pet friendly restaurant. We and our dog were treated well with outdoor seating. Food was very good as was the service. We would be happy to return.

Great food. Service was very accommodating for the Rally Members that came in and left because we were on a literal time crunch. Beautiful scenery and overall a great bar experience. The bruschetta was super good! Will come back when I’m in the beautiful little town again.

We were able to bring a couple card games (bingo and monopoly deal) in and play with our kids while we all waited for our food. It wasn't too busy, so it was quiet and the waitress kept an eye on anything we needed. Drinks were good, food was good - the restaurant is connected to the hotel, so we didn't have to go anywhere to get food and drinks. Wish there was a pool in the hotel though. Other than that, it's been a quiet hotel each time we have visited and I would recommend the river view rooms - if you're into nature views and watching fish jump.
