This was a favorite place to go but the last 3 visits have changed our minds. Slow service. I can see this when busy but it was a slow night the last time and they were slowwww. Chicken wings were still good. Fish fry was so so.. Reuben sandwich was not a Reuben sandwich. Not good! Atmosphere so so. Not sure why itās slipped. Too bad..

Only gave one star, would have given zero if possible. As we were giving our order, the waitress got distracted and walked away. She didnāt say Iāll be right back or excuse me or anything and then never came back. Got up and left. do not recommend this place ever!

This place is absolutely terrible, came in and they sat us at the dirtiest table then walked away before she could clean it then we wiped the table ourselves because she disappeared. Finally we got our order taken and the waitress walked away mid giving her our order and never came back after 20 we just decided to leave. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

The patio was in a beautiful locationā¦. Buncha drunk young adults being loud outside for dinner which was bothersome. Had to go to bar to ask for service. Had to help myself to napkins and silverware at the salad bar as waitress forgot to bring us those items and I was not going to wait another 15 min for her to check on us. Honestly could be nicer to not local people in my opinion. It felt awkward the entire time. Iāll skip next time unless I just stop in for a patio beer off the water.

Terrible food! Chicken Alfredo is fake chicken, very little penne pasta and a whole jar of Alfredo sauce. I can make better at home and I don't cook. Forgot my boyfriends steak, which he wanted rare, flipped it once on both sides and still cold. Baked potato was also cold. I suggest just getting appetizers.
Food was excellent, we love the "not fancy" atmosphere.

Stopped in on a quiet Tuesday evening at the end of October and had a great āAmerican foodā supper. Started off with some lava hot deep fried cheese curds, and enjoyed a fish sandwich and fries. The food was great as was the friendly service.Stop by if you are looking for a classic Wisconsin bar with a great view of the Mississippi River.NOTE: while I didnāt have the bluegills this time, Iāve had them before and theyāre great, itās something you donāt find everywhere.

We have been to this bar/grill many times. I'm so disappointed tonight. Our server had only one table in the 1 hr and 40 mins we were there. They were not busy, there were some people at the bar rail and just 3 other tables. After finally ordering, 1 of 3 appetizers was delivered to the table as an appetizer. The rest came with the meal. The customer that had ordered the special, was told it was no longer available. A table that arrives about 30 min after us, had received the special that we were told was unavailable. After an hour of waiting for our food (which were fried foods...) we asked staff about our food. We asked a different staff and was told "it's on, 10 mins tops." We waited another 20 minutes. We had to ask our server again for a pop when the food arrived, something that was ordered when our server first asked. We also tried to order more drinks at the bar and didn't get any service. We even observed a customer finish cleaning off a table to sit down. I don't know if they were short staffed in the kitchen... but that was the worst service and length of time for FRIED bar food.
