Such a great and unique cafe, there’s nothing like it. We have loved coming here for years. Just learned it’s closed permanently after covid, but if it opens again we’ll be there in a heartbeat!
I love this place! Only unique cafe in the area, and outside dining is so relaxing. I am deeply saddened its closing their doors. PLEASE stay open! This is a destination and one of 2 stops that are the only reason we come to Sauk for you and the winery. These small towns need you, we dont want to go to Madison or Milwaukee or the Dells to find something so quaint as Blue Spoon. ?
Great burgers! Breakfast sandwiches are so good! More on the pricey side but has a diverse menu- worth the stop for something new or learn a favorite new bite!
My favorite place to get eggs benny! The hollandaise sauce is so flavor filled. Every time I am in the Madison area I make a trip here. Also great views of the river.
A must stop. Outdoor dining in season. A great place to view eagles in the winter. Breakfast and lunch. Dinner on Friday and Saturday. Many beers and a great selection of wines.
This spot obviously knows how to serve their clients. Regularly with a very welcoming demeanor. The food is reasonably priced, regularly yummy and neat.
Such a nice spot for lunch. Over looks the river, good view and friendly staff. Give them a try.
We arrived at 10:53 and were told at the ordering counter they already stopped making breakfast--even though the website states they make breakfast all the way up to 11am. We came specifically for breakfast--hence the pre-11am arrival. When I explained that to the cashier she said it was after 11--despite the fact that all our cell phones showed it wasn't yet 11 and we had been waiting 5 minutes in line. They were unwilling to accommodate and the cashier was defensive and told me I was wrong rather than admitting they had stopped making breakfast early. Three parties of people who arrived for breakfast at the same time were all denied breakfast. Very disappointing.
I stumbled upon this gem a year ago and was absolutely impressed. This year, my family made sure we rolled into town in time to order from the breakfast menu again. The custard pancakes with custard on top and the cranberry french toast are the way to go. Unbeatable! The service is excellent and the view looking out over the river is even better. I would not think twice about spending some dollars here.
Always great service in a comfortable clean and community focused facility. Good food, albeit a little pricey. Great view of the River and occasional eagles.

Got here at 805am. Got seated and my food by 811am. Amazing service, all the employees are happy and sweet and engaged with the customers. Food came out exactly as I asked and for $14 I got huge high quality eggs bacon sourdough toast enough to share with my son, a warm chocolate muffin, coffee and hot cocoa. Highly recommend!
We sat in the River Room...it was warm and cozy on a cold day. We had an awesome lunch a glass of wine and just enjoyed the ambiance.
Good food, cozy and unique. Employees very friendly and if you're lucky you get to see bald eagles.
Food was great, I would give 5 stars except the Diet Pepsi was very flat and the lemonade was out. It was not busy at all, (Saturday 3:15) so can't give them that excuse.
Amazing decor, and European inspired menu. Took some friends here for the first time, and they were not dissapointed. Place is a little pricey so not my everyday go to spot but for sure a gem in Sauk.
