We went for pie night, which consists of made from scratch pizzas, pies and live music in the orchard. The owner is beyond sweet and very personable, it was very busy and it seemed very understaffed but the wait was worth it. Great pizza and even better desserts! Great date night stop ?

MUST STOP. Serendipitously came across the Oasis while driving from Minneapolis to Red Wing and so glad we did. Loved it so much we purposely stopped by on the return trip. The menu is alluding local ingredients and the service is lovely. Came on a sunny Saturday and wasn't crowded and had a nice view of the grounds. Got a sloppy joe which was the only sloppy joe I've ever enjoyed - it was evident it was made with real ingredients. Got a hot cider and even took home a gallon! Great selection all around.

We went to the Sunday brunch on a brisk morning in October. The coffee (latte) and food was unexpected good. Had the bacon egg bake with salad and the lentils with shredded pork, eggs & great biscuits. Very good and satisfying, we had to bring the dessert (cheesecake) home as we were too full. Relaxed atmosphere with cool jazz playing in the background and many local food items for sale from regional producers. We will be back to introduce friends to this rural gem.

Out of the way but worth the trip to the other side of the river. All items are homemade , seasonal and sustainable so the menu constantly changes. We has chicken salad, potato salad and mac and cheese to share, and all were great. They have homemade bread, confectionary, soups and pies. Rare to find a place like this....and a wooden train to play on for kids. Done right and one of the better river stops. So much better than anything I can find in Hastings. Gotta come back for the fish boil!!!!!!

O man this place is hella. My gf and me come here a few times a year, and the food is always inventive and delicious. Drinks are also excellent, and desserts are delish. We went to the fishboil once, and I thought it left a bit to be desired. They also have some wonderful chocolates and baked goods for sale (it's a great place to buy gifts). Definitely check it out if you're in the area.

Best place for kids. Turn 'em loose and drink New Glarus all day. Solid pizza featuring their own produce. "Bucolic" defined. Lovely spot.
