Best bakery bread around.
Flaky rolls, crescents, fougasse, monkey muffin. Desserts galore.
2 steps to get in. No wheelchair accessibility.
Some breads are only available on Saturday.
Street parking.

Parking: Could be little available during busy times.

Wheelchair accessibility: 2 steps into building. Not wheelchair accessible.
Took pictures of desserts and brought them out to my friend so she could get what she desired.

Tucked away in downtown Princeton on the corner, this bakery has an exquisite selection of European baked goods. From their delicious sourdough, baguettes, and fresh breads baked to perfection to their selection of cheeses, honey, soup, and savory items. We love the jalapeño cheddar focaccia bread, scones, biscotti, danishes, rugalach, Mexican wedding cake cookies, chocolate flourless cake, cookies, monkey bread muffins, key lime tarts just to name a few. My husband loves their blue cheese butter and puts it on everything, including his steak. This place sells out fast, so get there early it is definitely worth it! The prices are fair and the staff is a delight! You truly feel like you are in a little European corner cafe but with a great view of historic downtown Princeton. This bakery has indoor and outdoor seating, parking on the side and a little river behind it.

Had the walnut bread. It was wonderful, as were the lemon tarts.

Excellent baked goods in a great setting. Definitely with a visit, but get there early - they sell out of many things, especially on weekends in the summer.

This gem, located in the little town of Princeton WI, is a must-stop in the area. The sweet and savory baked goods here are incredibly delectable! Try the gorganzola butter with your fresh bread. Just so good!

Oh, it was so good! Everything we tried was amazing. I would highly recommend this European bake shop. The young man we encountered was very helpful, and friendly. He gave some great suggestions in regards to bakery items to try. We were traveling through the area, and saw the reviews and decided to stop. If we ever come back this way again, we will definitely be stopping again! We did come late morning on a weekend, and there were a few people in there but we were served right away.

Im hunting for the best croissant in Wisconsin, woooweee Renards has got to be the 2nd best I've found. They've got such a cute little bakery shop, and I appreciate the 3 per person limit unless you call ahead, so someone doesn't buy everything out right away. Friendly staff and affordable prices for quality treats ❤️

Renard's is a true to form and function European bakery. Not something one would expect to find in a town of this size. The pastries and breads are as good as the ones we have had throughout Europe. The decor and ambiance is lovely and relaxing. We are always on the hunt for GREAT croissants and Renard's is on our favorites list. You can not go wrong buying anything here. Highly recommend you take the time to reward your taste buds, but come early, the line forms quickly. Bon apetit.

I am so glad I finally stopped here. The bakery is so inviting and really reminds me of the bakeries back home in Germany. Everything I got looked beautiful and was so delicious!
