Had dinner there with friends last night. I ordered wings and salad and they had red wine, in small cans which is far superior to a large bottle that deteriorates after opening and not being used for a few days. I have actually stopped going to another restaurant locally that will not purchase these smaller units and their house wine is terrible. But we all thought the food was excellent, the place was clean and tho the bartender had to multi-task as bartender and waitress, she was great and was very attentive to our table. We will return ! Very good! My friend had the stew which she loved and the chicken sandwich which was also good. And great fries! Good job Western house!

Excellent, friendly service. Newly remodeled, clean and nice restrooms. Food is reasonably priced and tasty. They do great specials and fun things for football games too. Bingo, meat raffles, 50/50 drawings, etc. It's a fun, cool place!

The cod was very good cooked perfectly homeade fries are very good, creamy coleslaw was great and the marble rye bread was fresh not dry like some places.they also have walleye and shrimp

Food was okay. But wasn't bad either. Chicken wraps had no flavor and tons of lettuce with little chicken. Crab Rangoon was okay. Will be back. Maybe hopefully it'll be better tasting in the future.

Food was good, Service was very very slow. Not busy bar waited for 45+ min for a burger and fries, slow to get another beverage. Need a cook who can do more than 1 order at a time and a bartender who pays more attention to customers.
Didn't eat but enjoyed the solid bartending, I think it was Ben, plus a great, friendly atmosphere. The Western House is back as a must visit if you're in the Princeton area.

I have been to Western House a few times for lunch with my bestie. The food is always good and the service is awesome! Everyone is so nice! My Husband, his Brother and I are planning on coming for a fish fry this Friday!
Parking: There are a few spots on the side of the building but if you don't get there early enough you have to park on the side street since there is no parking on Main St.

Update: Went for the Fish Fry on Friday is phenomanl and had old fashions pretty good too!!! The breading is amazing and not heavy. I do wish there was more of a selection of IPAs.
The food was amazing!!! No drink specials or anything on your birthday, and honestly, I really want to give a 1 star review for that alone, as i could have went else where got drinks for free, but the food was so good that I only took away 1 star. Bartender was nice enough, I suppose. 3 drinks, 2 doubles, 2 apps, a tender basket, and wrap $50.00, a bit on the steep side if you ask me.
NO beer on tap and not a great selection at all. Had to take away another star for that.
Western House responded, so I will be checking them out again regarding this beer selection, as I did not see much of one or any tap.
