The best Kringle and 7 sisters in Racine. I grew up on Linderman and Monroe in the 1960s the weekend s were special. We used to decorate their windows for Halloween. Everytime we are back in town welcome back here.

Talking about stepping back in time. This place seems to be the place to get the “original” Kringle in town. Everything is still made by hand and fresh daily. They do have the best Kringle! They use real butter and you can definitely tell the difference in their food. It a must stop if visiting Racine, Wi I can’t believe I didn’t take a picture of the Kringle 🤦♀️. It didn’t last long enough to get one.
After receiving 2 kringles as gifts last year, we drive from Kenosha for their kringle. The Danish rye is delicious also. Flakey crust is terrific......

Our first ever order of almond Kringle had quite the road trip journey. It was shipped but then had a weather delay due to a snowstorm. Where did it sit - on the UPS truck, in a distribution center? After the weather delay, we received notice it was delivered. But, alas, no delivery on our porch or by the garage. We assumed it went to a wrong address. The next morning , we checked the tracking further. What??? It was delivered and sitting in the snow, under a tree at the end of our 1/4 mile driveway. This was a new delivery spot for UPS. So, after retrieving from the snow and trekking back up the driveway my thought was that it’s probably stale and frozen by now. Got it in the kitchen. Admired the box and wrapping, opened it and said ‘oh let’s have a taste now’. Well, all I can say, after being delayed by weather and sitting in a snowbank overnight with below freezing temps, it was delicious. Absolutely delicious! We stood around the kitchen island, cutting piece after piece and debating which flavor we’ll order next. Kudos Bendtsen’s for having the best Kringle we’ve ever tasted ( straight out of a snowbank) and for keeping the family tradition going. We will definitely be repeat customers .

This was my first visit to Bendtsen's bakery. Unfortunately, we got there a bit late so selection was limited. We got a cherry kringle and I have to say it was amazing. I would highly recommend trying them out. It is a hidden gem and we plan to visit them again.

This is what I missed in baked goods, this place right here has delicious breads, pastries, and of course kringles. I haven't had such good baked goods in goodness knows how long! And the lady helping us was very knowledgeable and passionate about their kringles 😊 will come back again in a heartbeat
