Nice little ma+pa type restaurant- very reminiscent of my childhood in the 80s sans smoking. A great find on the border of Racine and Kenosha counties across the street from Lake Michigan. Service was excellent and the food was a perfect familiar comfort- the country fried steak was really good and my friend had biscuits and gravy which she enjoyed as well. Modest prices, as a breakfast joint should be- looking forward to getting a lunch carryout soon too (they are open until 2pm daily I think..)!

Parking: No defined spots but ample room for a large number of vehicles.

Friendly staff and best Menudo ever!!! Only bummer is sometimes they're so busy it takes longer to get served. But, the food is always fresh and delicious and the portions are generous !!

I ordered breakfast on DoorDash from here. Three meat with eggs, hash browns and a side of corned beef hash.Eggs were heavily fried on the edges, sunny side up but they were not cooked well, there was the clear slime coming off of them. The hash browns were fried so heavily they were inedible and the corned beef hash was Hormel's (I believe bc I get those cans at home and that's exactly what they tasted like). The bacon was nearly black but the sausage links were good. So, all in all, fairly disappointed.

We brought an entire unannounced 14+ man bachelor party here on a Sunday morning recently. The staff was very kind and overly generous. They made sure we had a great memory and I can't recommend this diner enough if you're visiting the area. The food portions were massive and at the end we honestly felt undercharged. Great little dive diner!

It's been awhile since I was there last. I went on 9-24-23 and I gotta say I was unimpressed with how unclean it was, the restaurant that is.That said, the silverware was clean and so were the dishes the food was served on.If they took like a couple days to do some deep cleaning I would absolutely change the review.

Never open when they say they are. They were open one time out of the five I've tried going, I'm done. On one particular occasion I went there around 9 a.m (they supposedly open at 8) and the door was locked with someone sitting inside at a table (presumably the owner) looking at me like they were confused why I was there. What a joke.. Never again.

Great value for the quantity of food. Flavor was great for a dive restaurant. Sad they don't have all the wild game they used to, but now I can say I ate Caribou the next time I watch Polar Express!
