Food was excellent. Service was great. Only drawback to this restaurant is the tables are so close together. But overall very good and very enjoyable. Definitely will be back.

We had a fantastic birthday celebration at Butcher and Barrel on 9/12/25. The ambiance is laid back, but with an upscale edge. Our server was very accommodating and, best of all, the food was fantastic. The bone-in pork chop, rib-eye and filet were all top hits. We were also able to substitute sides to our liking which was a nice touch. B&B also took care of a vegan in our group quite well. That doesn't happen very often with restaurants that pride themselves on carnivorous dishes. Drinks and dessert were top notch as well. Thanks to the B&B staff for making our birthday boy's special day memorable!

Me and my wife found this place just by looking around for a date night. The food exceeded our expectations. This is a place that we will be back again to visit once we are in town here again.

Great food and excellent cocktail menu. The Chef made my steak perfectly. The special mushroom appetizer with remoulade sauce was a delight. Only to be topped by the dessert of an earl grey crème brûlée. Absolutely fantastic evening with great staff and the perfect ambience.

Our meal was delicious, beef short rib for my wife and pork chop with mushroom gravy for me. The waitress was pleasant and did a nice job. My only complaint is that our before dinner cocktails and glass of wine with dinner was skimpy. With premium prices you should get a generous pour.

It was our first visit to their new location on Main Street. We were favorably impressed with the atmosphere, service and overall dining experience. We shared the pear and spinach salad and the Halibut with risotto. The cuisine was scrumptious. The presentation eye appealing. We look forward to returning soon.

The new location at Main Street is modern, vibrant, and cozy. It has a covered parking garage, so it doesn’t matter if it is raining or snowing. Drinks are great and food delicious. I can not decide which one is my favorite dish, but for sure it would be one with the “polenta”. The cheesecake with coconut is to die for. If you are not from Wisconsin, ask for the Old fashion drink to taste a little bit of the local flavors. Wednesday is a great day for half price wine bottles. And Sundays have an extra “gastro pub” menu. If you go with a group, I recommend order different dishes and share, so you can try a bit of everything.
