We stayed in Racine for a Friday night. This is a must go to if you have one night, don’t go anywhere else. The food was fire. Our table had biscuits and hush puppies to start, the butter was the best we’ve ever had. Mains we had chicken, pulled pork, and brisket. Again, all amazing. The best was absolutely saved for last, desert. The peach cobbler was incredible, topped with home made ice cream! The cherry on top was all of this was very reasonably priced.

The menu has alot of unique flavor combos that sounded so good, it was hard to choose what to order. I'll definitely be back! Our server was not the most attentive or welcoming, but she did her job well enough and didn't leave us hanging. NOTICE: when they say the dish is spicy, it is an understatement... usually we like 5/5 level spice, but it was more like a 10/5... one of the dishes we ordered was sooo spicy it was too spicy to eat, and just sniffing it cleared my nasal passages. We didn't even consider taking it home. Still had to pay for it though, so that was kind of a bummer. Usually if a meal isn't as expected the wait staff offers to replace it with something else... not here. Mixed feelings on that, but Ai still look forward to exploring the menu more.

We had the pulled pork, lemon dita french fries, gumbo, mac and cheese and tried a taste of the brisket…it was all fabulous! Complex unexpected flavors, we will definitely be back! If you haven’t tried it before I highly recommend that you give it a try now! Racine needed a good barbecue place and this is it!

Staff was super friendly and helpful when placing my order. Ribs were nicely seasoned and tender but the star of the show is the jollof rice. I got the vegan jollof. The mushrooms were meaty and the veggies nice and smoky only thing that could have made it better would have been a little more heat. My only regret is I hadn't visited this place sooner. I will definitely be back!!!! Next time I'll post a pic!!!

The BBQ is second to none. The space is beautiful.
Staff was really nice. This was my 1st time here. Mac and cheese was yummy. I order the brisket. It was too much fat for my liking but I will be back to try something else.

Ok immediately felt such a great vibe when I walked in and Cleo Sol was playing. Emerson took great care of us. The food was unbelievably good… so good!! Maybe the best barbecue I’ve ever had🤩 I will definitely be back!

First time visitor, long time follower. Was finally in downtown Racine around lunch time and ordered some wings and a jerk chicken sandwich to go. Both were incredible. Wings are smoked and off the bone tender. Jerk chicken has the perfect amount of heat pairing well with the mango. Even the bun held up to the level of standard. Great food all around. Service was quick and friendly. Definitely recommend.
