Staff was really nice. This was my 1st time here. Mac and cheese was yummy. I order the brisket. It was too much fat for my liking but I will be back to try something else.
First time visitor, long time follower. Was finally in downtown Racine around lunch time and ordered some wings and a jerk chicken sandwich to go. Both were incredible. Wings are smoked and off the bone tender. Jerk chicken has the perfect amount of heat pairing well with the mango. Even the bun held up to the level of standard. Great food all around. Service was quick and friendly. Definitely recommend.

When I walk in the lady that works there couldn't stop chatting rather than helping the customer. Brisket was so dry! Some pieces seem to have been maybe reheated? Definitely lacked typical Briskit flavor in fact it mirrored to meet throne on a soggy bun with a mound of soggy onions. Super hard to chew thought about throwing the sandwich. A way halfway through but because I was hungry. I decided I'll just eat it and never go back here. Barbecue sauce was cold temperature.
Let's start with the atmosphere, this gem of a restaurant is located in downtown Racine in an old building super charming , cozy, eclectic vibe.
The service was above and beyond , very through description of menu items , quick and clean service. Even got to meet the owner/chef who was very kind.
And finally the food! The food was so good it made me do a happy dance. I had the brisket sandwhich, the lemon pepper fries with the special sauce and the collard greens. I also got to try 5 different sauces . The Jamaican jerk was outstanding.
If you haven't been to Dragon Pit BBQ yet ya gotta go, like now!

Reached out to Dragon Pit BBQ for a 60th birthday party. EVERYTHING was perfect. The staff was accommodating to all my requests, including an early pick up for the order. The food was amazing. Got everything home and ready - and it was still hot in the pan. 22 people at the party and everyone raved about how wonderful the brisket and pork was.

We came in at 10 am for brunch with a party of 8. We tried so many dishes and everything was delicious. Portions were large and we all had leftovers to take home. The owner and staff were great! There is a vey nice beer list. Would like to come back and try some cocktails another time. The vegan jollof rice , lemon dita fries, and collard greens were amazing. Prices were very reasonable able as well.

Ok immediately felt such a great vibe when I walked in and Cleo Sol was playing. Emerson took great care of us. The food was unbelievably good… so good!! Maybe the best barbecue I’ve ever had🤩 I will definitely be back!
