Ed's Taste of Soul Seafood and Chicken

Besides the man taking your order, the staff is incredibly rude and aggressive. The food is mediocre at best and they consistently are out of menu items. The way the owner speaks to the order taking employee is just disgusting, it really sets the tone for the experience. The wait times are outrageous for a simple burger and you get treated like an inconvenience. I wouldn’t recommend wasting your time.

We were downtown enjoyoing the music and Ed's Taste of Soul food truck was there. We got the hamburgers and fries and the best onion rings I have tasted in a long time. The burgers were delicious and the French fries were very good. I can't wait to try some of the other things they have on the menu.

My son and I drove in from Chicago Saturday, April 6th. We had the catfish with fries and Cole slaw along with a tray of fried okra. The ride in was about an hour, but it was worth the trip. All the food was fresh, hot and tasty. The owner served us and was so helpful when we asked about what comes with it ectera. Definitely worth the trip and my son loves catfish so I know he'll go back there soon. ❤ great food and service.

Every year I look forward to seeing Taste of Soul at Raymond Fest over the 4th or July. I love the hush puppies and fried chicken tenders. The spice on those tenders is perfect!! I’d love to support you at other places!

First tried at Taste of Wisconsin. Catfish was PERFECT! Will be heading to Racine very soon.
