Here’s a great story about our magical night at Evelyn’s Club Main! We stumbled into Evelyn’s back in November while staying at the nearby Hotel Verdant to test it for our wedding weekend. We loved the chill vibes and popcorn machine. When we found out that our hotel bar closed at 10PM, we decided we would have our wedding “after party” at Evelyn’s on the day of in May. We thought maybe ten people would show up, and so didn’t think it necessary to alert Evelyn’s that we were coming. But we were wrong!
When we arrived after the wedding, we were immediately surprised by three things. The first is that the sandwich board out front said “Congratulations Bryce and Erica!” We’re still not quite sure how they knew we were coming , but we are now so glad they did, because the second surprise was that when we entered the bar, it was completely filled with our wedding guests! Whoops! But also—awesome! They all cheered when we entered. The third surprise was that it was Karaoke night, and the host immediately introduced us on the microphone and welcomed us, and put us to the front of the singing order! Incredible!
You might think that the regulars and bar tenders would be annoyed by our invasion, but this did not seem to be the case at all. A barfly named Bob serenaded Erica and I at close range with Elvis’ “Can’t Help Falling in Love”. A guy named Toby, who was bellied up to the bar, kept congratulating us and offering to buy us drinks, and telling us we would have attractive babies. The bar tender sang “All I Want is You” by Barry Polisar and dedicated it to us. We were blown away. That had been our recession song that very day. She said she had no idea, and got me a beer on the house. Another magical moment.
All this to say, Erica, myself, and our guests had a blast at Evelyn’s that night, laughing, singing, and talking. Big thanks to the bar staff and regulars for treating us like family. It really was a magical time!

Hire more user-friendly staff, read your reviews, and make the suggested upgrades.
This place sucks, unfriendly
DO NOT recommend, owner fires an employee for getting hurt and then turns around fires another employee. Owners are suppose to back their employees up but NOT this one. Unprofessional at its finest!
Shut it down 👇 fights on fights
Emily is great
Good vibe, cheap drinks, jukebox, pool table is quite popular, good place to hangout
The frozen pizza was cooked to perfection, the staff is super friendly, and the booze is cheap.
This place should be on the silent secret dive bar map.
Not the dive bars that everyone wants to go to, but the ones that all the introverts want to go to.
This place has be a silent and secret staple the entire time I have worked downtown. The bartenders are judgy and sarcastic, the patrons, quite the same. It is a place where if you don't feel welcome, you need to do an introspection as to why. This is the last stop and the rest stop for all of the people who put up with society and their bs day in and day out. Places like this are the reason that we get any sleep at all. We veg, without conflict, irritation. With people of the same mind.
