They make a great gyro!! And hot dogs too. The atmosphere is quaint and cute as well. We’ll be back!
I ordered from this place a few times and only the first time was it any good. After that it's been downhill. If it's not burnt me it's super greasy meat if it's not super greasy meat it's the wrong items on your pita. This is always something doesn't even taste the same. They get lazy ass employees and instead of correcting their behavior they let them move up in positions. I would have cameras watching all of my employees especially when dealing with food. And if they do then they're definitely not watching them. It's getting disgusting either shut the shit down or fix the freaking problem
This was my third experience at Gus' and probably my worst. Despite myself and my son being the only people there our food was served barely luke warm. Which is sad because I was really looking forward to a gyro. Most likely I won't be going back. Prices seemed kind of on the high side for mediocre food.
We called and called no one ever answered. Thinking they maybe just that busy, I actually drove over, walked in and no customers were there. So I ordered and the. Sat and waited, but decided to experiment and pulled my phone out and called. I sat there while their phone rang and rang. The worker was busy talking to her friend on her cellphone.
First time there, good gyros
Hate to give a 1 star for service. The girl was nice. I just paid $20 dollars for the worst meal I have ever had in my life. 10 dollars for a Chicago style hotdog I come home the bun is rock solid. BEYOND stale there’s no better way to spit in someone’s face than to over charge them for food and then serve them bad food. That was the first and last time I will ever step foot in there. Disgusting. Disgusting food. Disgusting businessman.
Great gyros but really greasy
Always great food and speedy service. Check them out for a great lunch

Best awesome gyros
Got turned away from purchasing food at 7:45p when they close at 8p on a Sunday. The girl at the counter said “they’re closed” and told us to leave.
We’ve been coming to this restaurant for years and absolutely love the food. If you close at 7:45p then you should update the hours.
No need to have seconds
I mourned the closing of Sparti's Gyros in Kenosha and have missed them. I finally found a place that the Gyros are just as good, if not better! And The fries are so good and you get so many, you can heat them in the oven next day for leftovers. The gyro (1978) was saucy and easily takes both hands to hold, packed with meat. Tried the francheezie on second visit and it was really good, too. And the fries were still just as good. Haven't had a francheezie since back in Chicago as a kid in the 80s and it was true to the memory! Worth the cost and one gyro is two lunches worth for me. Try them. Yes they're greasy and they dump the fries in a paperbag. That's part of the experience. They're delicious. No fuss, just good food. The staff was super friendly and accommodating, bringing our food out when ready or packing it well to go. Thank you, Gus's Gyros!
Very good very happy
