We enjoyed Mother's Day at Hobnob. We were seated in the back at an adorable bistro table facing the lake. We felt welcomed and well cared for. My cosmo was perfection. The Italian wedding soup was delicious. Salad was good. Rolls were fresh and warm. I ordered the filet Oscar which was fabulous. My filet melted in my mouth. So tender and cooked perfectly. My husband tried weinerschnitzel and was happy. The quality of our meal and overall experience was 5 star. Normally on a holiday we may encounter a glitch somewhere- not today! Highly recommend.

We had reservations for 4 o’clock. Waited to be seated till about 4:30 waited at least a good hour and a half before we got our food. We all ordered ham dinners my ham was good but 2 of the other dinners the ham was tough. All of our carrots were very hard and the taste was not good so we all didn’t eat the carrots. I would say i probably wouldn’t eat here again especially for the prices and quality of the food.

Where do I begin. We arrived on Easter Sunday at 1:50 for our 2pm reservation which they said they didn’t have. Made reservation weeks ago. Sat around 2:30. They had a special Easter Brunch which they were out of several of the items. Placed our orders and it took FOREVER to get our cold very mediocre food. No explanations, no sorry it’s taking forever. The manager(assuming she was a manager) side eyed us a couple times, never made eye contact never came to our table to apologize or ask how things were. We didn’t get our food for well over 2 hours and like I said it was cold and terribly expensive for what they served us. Soup was cold prior to our meals as well. They forgot one of our appetizers and a side, but it was sure on the bill. Do not recommend.

We have not been at The Hob Nob since it has changed hands. We thought we would give it a try. Never thought we would be as disappointed as we were tonight. I was still eating my salad when the server asked me if I was done with my salad lol. That was fine. It actually made me laugh and I said sure I’m done and I handed it to her. But the white fish that I had was so bad, it tasted so fishy it was hard to even eat. The New York strip my husband ordered was fat and gristle. My granddaughter had the spaghetti which tasted like tomato paste over elbow macaroni. All in all It was a big disappointment. I have never complained at the Hob Nob until tonight. I was not asking for a refund or anything to be taken off of my bill. All I said was the fish was not good at all and I left it at that. The server said she would take it off the bill and we paid the bill, left a nice tip and we will most likely never go back. Sad but I hope others have had a better experience and it will continue to thrive because it once was something great! ❤️

I ordered a filet and I had to send it back because it was not a filet and it was all fatty and flat I told waiter who was new and didn’t know what a filet looked like. I returned for another and it was the same just fatty blob of meat!! Everything else was bad as well! Not the same I always loved going there and I won’t go back!!

Not the Hobnob I remember. Slow service. Un attentive and rude waitress. I had the Cannoli, it was HORRIBLE, dry, no sauce and tasted and looked like it had been microwaved. I couldn't even finish it. The spinach salad I had was horrible as well I couldn't even eat it and I am not a picky person. Just not worth it I definitely will not be going back. What a shame because I used to love that place!

Not impressed at all. Out of carrots and celery for the $17 relish tray. After waiting 20 minutes, the server came to tell us they were also out of the beer we ordered. Food came out luke warm. Ordered a piece of cheesecake and the manager had to come and apologize and let us know they were out of that also. Entire experience took about 2 1/2 hours and when the bill came we were grossly overcharged 6.75 for an Arnold Palmer because it was considered 2 drinks!! Definitely won't be back. Management handled it well but way overpriced for mediocre food and service at best. Very disappointed.

We met our siblings for dinner last night, some traveled over an 1-1/2 hrs. We were sorely disappointed and will never go back. My husband is a retired Chef in the private club industry his whole life in the North Shore of Chicago and was so excited to find a Wisconsin supper club that served Prime Rib. My husband ordered a dirty martini with bleu cheese olives. The. martini was not a dirty martini, and when we got the bill they charged us $.25 each for the olives, and the waitress didn't mention that it would be an additional charge for olives. Don't martinis come with a garnish? In our whole life, we have never paid extra for olives in a martini. The garden salad that several of us ordered, my husband wanted bleu cheese dressing. A very small plastic container was served on top of the salad with some crumbled bleu cheese on top of sour cream, maybe a tablespoon. This is not bleu cheese dressing. And we found out again when we got our bill it was $3.75 additional (which we were never told was an upcharge). What a joke. My husband ordered the double cut Prime Rib and was looking forward to enjoying this meal. Turns out the waitress comes out and explains that the kitchen staff didn't have enough Prime Rib and for the double cut and a single cut for our brother-in-law, who also loves Prime Rib. We decided to go ahead and split the double cut and this was only at 6:30 p.m. on their "special Prime Rib Friday night". Who runs out of Prime Rib this early? Poor planning. When the Prime Rib was served, it was embarrassing and my husband didn't even know where to look. Even my siblings didn't know what to say. At best the 13 oz. single cut was maybe 7-8 oz. for $52. It was lukewarm and had absolutely no taste served with a black plastic cup filled with creamy horseradish sauce which tasted like sweet ranch dressing. Not the same. Not even au jus. A very very poor excuse for Prime Rib with a price tag of $52. The Au Gratin cheese potatoes were a scoop of mashed potatoes with cheddar cheese on top. The is not Au Gratin potatoes. The dinner rolls and Clam Chowder soup was very good. My wife's Walleye Pike was overcooked and dry. It tasted old. The ice cream drinks were ice cream with a drizzle of brandy and nutmeg on top only. They don't mix the alcohol into the ice cream and we ordered 3 different ones. This is not the correct way to make a supper club ice cream drink. The view of Lake Michigan gets the star. My husband said as we were leaving the restaurant, take a couple of good pictures because we will never be returning. If, however, you want to drive the 1-1/2 hrs for their Claim Chowder Soup and dinner rolls, have at it.

Do not recommend dining here. They think it’s okay to reject service to people with different views than they have.

Been here a few times and enjoyed it. Food is pretty good. Service us usually good. But my daughter ordered a meal and asked if it had onions in it, the reply was that there is only onion powder in the sauce. My daughter can eat that, just not the physical onion pieces - they make her sick. All good. After a few bites, she found onions and more onions. We asked for a box and told the waitress and all we got was a "oh I'm sorry". We looked at the dessert menu but didn't order. She then brought over the enormous brandy Alexander that we did not want at all, as an apology. We forced ourselves to eat a few bites. Luckily my daughter made it home - before throwing up. Not a great night.

Awful! This was the steak tips over noodles...disgusting. Had an Grasshopper cocktail & they don't blend it? Poured the cream de mente on top of the vanilla ice cream? No cream de Cocoa though? ? Not impressed food if there is new owners. I hope the vintage interior remains the same

This place is lost in time in the best way possible. The decor is amazing. The service was excellent. The menu is great with traditional supper club fare. The view was one of the best I’ve ever seen. I will definitely be going back!

Good cocktail, appetizer, baked onion soup and spinach salad with hot bacon dressing. My New York Strip steak was cooked properly but was mostly gristle. Very disappointed in the steak. The restaurant was full and so loud we could barely hear each other. Our waitress was competent but not particularly great.
