I went for Thanksgiving dinner but I had the prime rib. It was excellent and the au gratin was perfect. Old school, high end interior and very well trained staff. I will be back.

Nice atmosphere but food was mid. There were 3 of us and we were shocked at the $160 bill for mediocre and lukewarm food. Plus the flat soda.

If you're lucky enough to be serenaded by Michael the pianist, the soul warming food and genuinely lovely staff won't even matter, you're night is made.
Make a reservation, you won't regret it.

Way overpriced for the lack of flavor in both meals we had. French Onion Soup was ok but was very mild in flavor. Would not recommend as Wisconsin has way better options for half price.

Place was absolutely amazing.
The view, the ambiance, the food. The service, the selections, the menu I could not find one thing to even consider a 4 star 4. Everything was 5 star.
Management was amazing.

Glamorous upgrade to 'lake view dining' with steak, seafood dishes, and ice cream-infused drinks

This was a great supper club with great food and drinks and amazing views or Lake Michigan from the Bar!

The food was still great. Yes it’s very expensive still but for a rare visit we just accept it. Brought someone there for a first visit. Problem this time was the after dinner drinks that they used to known for. The brandy Alexander and grasshopper drinks used to be amazing. Now they charge you $16 for a couple scoops of ice cream with some liquor poured over it and topped with some seasonings. Not even blended like they are supposed to be. Bartenders were busy but kind of rude to customers. Probably won’t be back there for quite a while.

The recent reviews here have been less than stellar, so we went in with moderate expectations, but were blown away - the gorgeous setting on the lake, friendly attentive service, combined with a classic supper club menu made this a 5 star experience.
My husband ordered a steak and shrimp special which looked amazing, and I had a filet with mushrooms. In view of the menu warning about ordering medium well steaks, I braced myself to be scolded when I requested mine to be cooked this way, but our kind server suggested that it be butterflied to cook more evenly, and it was perfect. Brandy old fashioneds were a great accompaniment.

We loved the food and customer service 3 months ago, so went back with some friends, we mostly enjoyed 6 different meals. The waitress was terrible. Waitress Dripped our wine all over the table and wife took over before waitress ruined our clothes. Waitress did not clear dishes before brought next course, congested, sloppy and unprofessional. Previous trip had great waiter that made the visit worth coming back. Today’s waitress made us define will not be back. Backed potatoes on 2 orders was cold, could not even melt the butter. Great reputation over the years but evidently falling on hard times with inadequately trained staff. It is unfortunate, as I hard to find a good restaurant with good service. Automatically putting a $100 tip on my bill for such poor service was a further insult. Let the customer decide what the wait staffs service was worth, versus automatically telling the customer how much. Unfortunately we will not be back.

We had a wonderful meal. Went out with our friends so there was the four of us. Had reservations for 5:30. We were seated immediately.

Our soup choice was baked french onion or steak potato with green pepper. We tried both and they were incredibly delicious. The steak soup literally had large chunks of very tender steak.
Our dinners were not only fantastic but the portions were very generous. I'm a big eater and had to bring half home.
The manager personally greeted us to make sure our dining experience was the best that it could be.
Thank you Hobnob for a wonderful evening.

Excellent food, great waiter, but not the menu i expected for a “supper club”. More of a steakhouse and seafood place. Kind of expensive. But you can’t beat the view.

The overall it nice place to visit, but the atmosphere there is a little bit outdated. The server was nice and helpful. One concern was that we were waiting for more than 15 minutes to get our drinks. For my taste, the food was too greasy, which wasn't the best thing for my gut. To sum up, it's a nice place to visit once if you're in Wisconsin.
