This hotel is very well done and not overly expensive. Excellent attention to detail. The room we have is not large but is about perfect for us. The bed and pillows are so comfortable. It's quiet and very nicely decorated and designed. The hotel rooftop bar is a treat. Looking out over the downtown and Lake Michigan with a cocktail is a highlight. Would highly recommend. My wife and I stayed at Hotel Verdant on September 2, 2025. This was our first time at Hotel Verdant. It was the first stop on our trip around Lake Michigan. Hotel Verdant is amazing, the attention to detail throughout the hotel and the rooms is top notch. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and great at their jobs. Dining at Hotel Verdant was excellent (food and service were great). The roof top bar had wonderful views of Lake Michigan. The vibe was fun. Drinks were creative and tasty. We highly recommend Hotel Verdant for lodging, dining and having a drink!

I recently stayed at Hotel Verdant in Racine and I absolutely loved it. From start to finish, the experience was wonderful — this place is clean, new, and super nice.
The room was spotless and beautifully designed, with high ceilings, good windows, and all the modern comforts. Everything felt fresh and well thought‐out, from the furniture to the linens to the decor.
One of the highlights was the service. Julia at the front desk was just incredibly sweet and kind — warm, helpful, and always smiling. She made check-in seamless and gave great recommendations about things to do nearby.
The amenities are excellent: there’s a rooftop terrace with views toward Lake Michigan, a stylish lobby, and a gym that’s clean and has what you need. Also loved the green touches throughout the hotel — it feels like they really cared about those little details.
The location is great: very walkable to the lake, downtown, restaurants, and cultural spots in Racine. Parking is reasonable (though finding a spot at busy times might take a bit of patience). The on-site restaurant and bar are nice; I especially enjoyed having a drink on the rooftop. Overall, Hotel Verdant completely exceeded my expectations. Clean, modern, comfortable, friendly — and Julia at front desk was one of the best parts. I’ll definitely stay here again next time I’m in Racine. Highly recommend!

We loved staying at the Hotel Verdant! It’s a beautiful, modern, comfortable hotel in a perfect location near the lake and downtown. We loved the food at Marguerite, especially the arancini, salmon and tiramisu. The staff helped answer any questions that arose and was very kind to us. Will definitely be going back!

I went into the hotel loby First Friday in the evening and the janitor almost knocked me over with her mop. Never even said sorry or apologized. Just kept about her business. Makes me wonder how a manager can keep staff like that around and how that staff responds to other guests.
