What truly stood out was the service: the associate took the time to listen to what I needed, offered honest recommendations, and made sure I left feeling like I had made the right choice—no pushy sales pitch, just helpful guidance. Checkout was quick and smooth, and they even followed up afterward to ensure I was satisfied.

If you’re looking for a store where you’re treated like a valued customer, not just another sale, this is it. I absolutely recommend checking them out — I’ll definitely be back

PAID ALMOST $6 DOLLARS FOR A CUP OF CORN. ASKED FOR “EXTRA” TOPPINGS ONLY TO OPEN THE CUP TO “DRY” INGREDIENTS.
CALLED WITH MY CONCERN ONLY TO BE TOLD IT WOULD BE DRY, UNLESS I PAID AN EXTRA DOLLAR.
MEANWHILE MONEY WAS NOT AN ISSUE, THE STAFF DISPLAYED A DISGUSTING MANNER FOR LACK OF COMMUNICATION.
I WAS VERY DIRECT IN REGARDS TO MY FOOD, HOWEVER UPON IDENTIFYING MY CONCERNS I WAS TREATED WITH PURE DISTAIN.
DO NOT RECOMMEND:

Overpriced tortillas !!!
Each pack of corn tortillas “El Milagro” is priced at $1.25 plus tax, when at any other Mexican grocery store are priced at around .50 cents each, even at Piggly Wiggly are priced around .80 cents
Don’t shop tortillas here for sure

La Mexicana has delicious authentic Mexican food. It's one of my fav spots to grab something to eat really quick. Yesterday, I was disappointed though. I brought the camarrones de diabla bc I wanted something different & it was nasty. The sauce tasted like they mixed ketchup with hot sauce & poured it over the shrimp. I tasted & seen no onions or arbol chiles at all. I ended up throwing the meal away. I don't know if they were rushing bc they had alot of orders....but overall, the food is yummy! Just don't get the camarrones. I will still eat there just beware of that meal.

🌮La Mexicana is one of my favorite taco spots in Racine!

I’ve been coming to this place for a few years now and it never disappoints.

Tucked in the back of the store is a small restaurant with a full menu and let me tell you… their tacos are everything.

They are always fresh, full of flavor and served with grilled onions and a roasted pepper on the side which I love.

Honestly, they are definitely top three when it comes to tacos in Racine.

What makes the spot even more special is how much more it offers beyond the restaurant.

They are actually a small grocery/corner store as well. In addition to having a small restaurant in the back they are also a little paleteria (ice cream shop) so you can grab a refreshing popsicle or ice cream (perfect after a taco) and if you’re in the mood for street corn they have those too (also one of the best in Racine).

Whether I’m swinging by for a quick taco or elote fix or picking up a mangonada from their little paleteria window… I always leave happy.

Friendly service, great food, and the authentic welcoming vibe keeps me coming back. Highly recommend!

I came across this place on my way to a nearby boat yard, and decided to Stop in. I’m so glad I did! Delicious tacos Al Pastor that came with grilled onions a nice touch for 2.99 each or four for $11. Very juicy and flavorful. This will be my go to place when working on the boat. I saw that they had Mexican ice cream, flan and Mangonadas. Next time, I will try another Dish

NOWHERE MAN

Authentic flavor food.
