The food is usually great but in the last couple of years it's hit or miss. My favorite was always the kung pao chicken. I used to be asked (by the owner who used to always be there and who always took the orders) how spicy I'd want it and it was always perfect! In the last 10 years she's never there and I hope all is well but I keep ordering it trying, hoping it won't suck. There is NO heat to this dish anymore. All it is is vinegar, soy, and oyster sauce. No chili paste, no chilis, not even chili flakes. Just super thick sauce that's bitter. As this is one of only 3 Chinese restaurants in Racine and is still the best of them, I am BEGGING you to fix the Kung Pao chicken! I miss it and no one makes it how Main Moon used to, including Main Moon. I guess I keep trying because one time in about 6 years I ordered and the owner was there and again it was perfect. I did complain one time and was met with hostile cooks who argued with me so I never complained again. I just really wish they would make it how it's supposed to be which is spicy.

This has been a staple since my teenage years. My enjoyment has never wavered. You can never go wrong with chicken eggrolls and chicken fried rice. General Tso, orange chicken, and sesame chicken are always winners. The teriyaki chicken is also awesome.

Overall, sadly, just not that good. (My expectations were low to begin with knowing this was a strip-mall restaurant and seeing the reviews.) We ordered about seven different things to share as a family. The teriyaki chicken and beef were terribly dried out, the egg drop soup was like a congealed blob, Orange Chicken and Mongolian Beef were just ok. For what you pay, just pay a little more and go somewhere with a good reputation so you'll enjoy what you're eating. It's such a bummer when you choose to spend your money on a meal out and walk away disappointed.

Fried dumplings are doughy. Pork Fried rice very disappointing with way too much soy sauce and some undercooked rice. Beef and brocolli was pretty good though.

First off would like to say the tip jars that are on the front counter goes to the greedy owners so she can go shopping. Second the crispy fresh noodles they say they make sit around pretty much uncovered for a month because they fill the bins up to much. And the amount of food I have seen dropped on the floor and served is disgusting. Then if someone doesn't pick up a order it sits there for at least a hour and they will reuse it soggy food is nasty so not a good place to eat.

We live 2 blocks from the restaurant and all of our food was cold. The crab Rangoon under done. I spent 80.00. For cold food. When calling the restaurant the man I spoke to kept telling me it couldn’t have been cold because they just made it. He then followed up with what do you want me to do about it? I know what I am going to do. I am going to go to “China House “ or anywhere but main moon 2. Save your money folks, go elsewhere.

Good sweet and sour chicken although it needs more sweet and sour sauce because we ran out before finishing the meal. Meat quality is not what it used to be..

Like many Asian restaurants main moon started out very strong. When the owners were on site the quality was much better and they brought atmosphere to both locations. But alas, w/ food cost gone crazy they started buying cheaper meats and it's so obvious to those of us who've come for years. I know they used to go to Chicago to get 5 different types of rice it was the best. That too is no longer the same. I used to go when broke and just buy rice and be satisfied. No more. Truly a shame, but many restaurants are doing this I'm a chef I know. They still cook vegetables on the crunchy side of al dente they are perfect. I still go, non meat items only. Bring back decent meats. The fact u clean meat doesn't hide quality or lack of it. The atmosphere is quiet if that's what u want. Like a funeralVegetarian options: Best things on menu are vegetarian and I'm a meat eating savage. Kung po tofu very good. They cook veg perfectly

Food was not good at all, it was all burnt and they rushed us out the door knowing it was. Usually it’s good but not anymore. Not worth the cost.

I use to come here a lot before I moved and it was great. Came back and was happy to see all the "Best of" awards they got the last couple of years. I got the general tso chicken and pork fried rice. The chicken tasted like shrimp so it was probably cooked in the same pan as some shrimp was. The rice was good but the pork inside the rice just tasted off to me. Maybe that was just me but the chicken didn't taste anything like chicken just shrimp

This was the worst sesame chicken ever! Ordered a takeout combination plate and ended up having to throw it away. It was so dry, even the pork fried rice was dry. There was absolutely no sauce what so ever. It even looked funny, like it was maybe a day old. My husband ordered the orange chicken and threw his out too. The egg rolls were extra greasy. Lost my business for sure!
