Omg this place is a gem. It's not fancy but it's delicious. I had chicken strips and waffles and the chicken was definitely hand breaded not some kind of frozen garbage. My husband had shrimp and catfish with grits and he's telling anyone who will listen about it . The staff was super friendly and the service was great. We are definitely going back.

all the food is made from scratch when you order it. it was our 1st time there and we were not disappointed. their grits were amazing, not, like any ive ever had before the taste was almost savory so good. the biscuits and gravy were also delicious. I had the jerk chicken egg roll it was a thin super crunchy roll with lots a jerk chicken and came with a sweet chili dipping sauce. if you get the chance I recommend trying Mrs. Betty's.

The food was horrible. Salmon croquettes were hard and fishy, pancakes were soggy, coffee cold and no flavor and eggs cold. The owner showed no remorse and the bill was over 32 dollars. If I can give the less then a one I would.

Yeah I’m coming back most definitely .. the lady running it was professional as hell and very nice with a bright smile.. she said it will be 15 min wait and it was 15 mins..the food complemented the customer service.. everything was good and seasoned right with nice proportions .. I think I found a new home for my breakfast.. sorry Rosie’s ..hahaha

As I travel around the country for my job, I always try a restaurant's shrimp and grits if they have it. This was the best I've ever had in my life, even growing up in the south for most of my life. Who would have thought the best would be here in Racine, Wisconsin!

This place is incredible! We are here for a wedding and wanted to try out a diner for breakfast. The jerk skillet is incredible, the biscuits are perfect, and the fried okra was the best. The atmosphere is awesome, and our server this morning was like superwoman getting everything done (phone, food running, greeting, serving tables, etc.).
You gotta come here - way more than just a diner.

I finally made it to Mrs. Betty's Kitchen. I've heard such great things, especially about the grits, and I was not disappointed. The grits were truly the best I've ever had, just like everyone said! The French toast, waffles, bacon, and fried chicken strips were so good. It's definitely going to be a new go-to spot for breakfast, brunch, or lunch, I'm looking forward to bringing my friends here.
