I ordered this Danish lawyer cake for my husband for his birthday. I brought it up to the Dells area was having a birthday party for my husband. Was so excited to serve this cake and let everybody know who have not had it before. How delicious O each bakery is. This is the second danish layer that I have received this way within the past seven months. The frosting was thicker than the cake. I chilled the cake in the refrigerator and when I took it out to cut it, the pile of frosting in the picture is what broke off the cake as I was cutting it. Big chunks fell off. It was the most disgusting dessert I have ever served anyone and I can’t talk about how embarrassed I was! I let O&H know about this instead of refunding me for the cake they gave me rewards points on my reward account. Like big deal I paid almost $39 for the cake. After all the hassle of not being able to get this satisfied with me, she then decided to give me a tort. That was after the fact. Needless to say, I will not be back to own a bakery. I’d rather choose Benson’s.

I was at my local trader Joe's in louisville ky and saw a kringle wrapped in paper for the first time in my life. The way it was wrapped you couldnt see the pastry at all so I took a chance AND SO GLAD I DID!!!! BEST $25 EVER SPENT. THAT ALMOND KRINGLE...oh my Lord. Buttery and all those layers. But the best part was the instant you taste it, your tatatebuds get something rarely tasted these days...and that's authentic ingredients, like real butter and sugar...it was heaven. Just signed up for free kringle. Crossing my fingers cause I have my eye on the apple and blueberry lol

When we lived up north, we would always go to O&H with our kids. They always got to pick the flavor of Kringle we would try. We have tried just about every flavor and were never disappointed. When we moved down south we were sad to not be close to O&H and would just order one every once in a while. One day we walked into our local Trader Joe’s and we were beyond ecstatic when right there in the front was a bunch of Kringles from O&H!!! And our favorite flavor too! We always rave of just how wonderful they are and how we are happy to have a piece of home so close to us ❤️💙

Pumpkin Caramel Kringle: A Kringle is a large circular Danish pastry with flaky dough, covered in icing, & filled with fruit, nut, or other more unique flavors. After doing a little research I’ve learned that sadly, Kringles are not widely spread throughout the U.S. It turns out that Racine, WI is actually the epicenter for Kringles. O&H Danish Bakery opened in 1949 and has been family owned for four generations. Did you know Kringle is the official state pastry of Wisconsin? This one is filled with a sweet and delicious pumpkin puree and topped with a drizzle of caramel icing and sprinkling of pecans. The pastry has just the right amount of chewiness to it and is also a little flaky like a croissant. O&H does not skimp on the filling as there is plenty of pumpkin hiding inside. Personally, I found pumpkin was the strongest flavor, but it's accompanied by cinnamon and a nuttiness (from the pecans). Caramel was the least noticeable as it came off as mostly a generic sweetness on my tastebuds. Personally, I don't care for nuts on my desserts, so I would be fine if it didn't come with pecans. Although I would have liked more caramel and less pecans, pumpkin is the most important factor, and this was a phenomenal pumpkin dessert! Doughboy approved
