I’m a Roosters regular. This place is really such a nice breakfast or lunch spot. Great American diner style dishes. The Rooster Omelette is a monster. That breakfast could cure any hangover. Don’t forget to ask for their homemade salsa to accompany the omelette. They also have homemade toast which is a no-brainer. Nothing compares in town. So so yummy.
Homemade soups are lovely as well. Personal favorite is the chicken dumpling.
What really keeps me coming back though is the amazing service and sense of community you feel dining here. The waitresses are eager to chat and make everyone feel welcome. The owner has learned my name and acknowledges me by name every time she sees me at the counter. Really great teamwork and a sense of unity that makes dining here feel like home.

All these 2-3-4 star reviews make me laugh, some people don’t appreciate nothing good. Standards so high and judgmental, even IF a mishap or inconvenience occurred, they’re ready to switch up on the biz. Yeah, blah blah blah ….”you expected more french fries”….“ the curtains weren’t to your liking ”… “toliets were chilly during winter”…”I can’t fit into a booth ”… “parking lot wasn’t freshly striped “…. “it’s a great place but 4 stars”. Just stop, y’all should be ashamed and banned from giving reviews. At this point I can only hope the next generation gets to experience and support small biz as much as I do. For all you 1-2-3-4 star people…there’s a special place for all of you’s to choke down unlimited supply of Sam’s Club glizzys …….yes the big ole 18” ones! 😂 Anywho, this was my 1st time visiting, ordered by phone ,was ready in 10mins, found parking easily and purposely took up 2 spots to give someone somewhere something to complain about, walked in paid with cash as you do with every small biz ( not so common sense anymore) , handed waitress some tip money and the food was delicious. Appreciate ya

Very disappointed as They no longer longer offer broasted chicken. That was our go to. Biscuits and gravy were OK. Chicken Fajita salad was tasteless, other than the onions and peppers, and so so overpriced at $12. We stopped specifically for broasted Chicken and will probably not return.

Their breakfast food is top-notch. I have never been disappointed. The servings are plentiful and yummy. However, their coffee is ABYSMAL! I actually stopped going there for that reason, but their omelets are too good, so I just get them to go. You can see through a full pot of coffee. It's super sad because a good cup of coffee is integral to a good breakfast experience.

On 09/26/24 at approximately 1:30pm at table 12 we went to eat at the Restaurant for the first time and it really was not a pleasant experience, the food took a long time, it was not good in taste, it was a rush to finish what they had They, the bathrooms were closed, an employee was asked if they were closed and she said yes, I don't understand why and none of the 3 of us who went were able to use it, they didn't come to ask if everything was okay, my daughter's food had so much Hurry up, they didn't give you their ice cream. For my part, I will not visit them again, one less client and I do not recommend them, if you do not pay cash they charge you more, but they do not tell you beforehand.

Ordered chicken fried steak. Came with salty thick brown gravy. Brown gravy does NOT go on chicken fried steak. The taste was absolutely horrible! It came with chicken dumpling soup, that was pretty good. Will not go back there to attempt any other food just to get soup. I’ve tried twice this restaurant twice since the owner change and it’s been completely disappointing.
