I visited Skoops 10 yrs back & then last week!! It’s the same sweet little shop as before and I love it. Ice cream flavors are decent.

Support this amazing sweet business owner. It’s absolutely adorable inside and the owner is truly a special and sweet woman!

Medium Shane is 9. I’d say for the price it isn’t worth it the ice cream has a stale taste and I’m not even picky about my ice cream but it’s the case here. The smell otheres mentioned I didn’t notice but I will say it’s stale are here too lol. The worker kinda unfriendly too.

2 regular size malts (which were tasteless & runny) plus 1 junior ice cream cone came to $27.00. Just too pricy for the quality. Will not be back.

Ice cream is mediocre quality overall. However, to justify the expense, the service needs to be better (more attentive).
The service now is not good. I stopped in twice in five days. The first time, I felt like the staff was rushing me out at 7:40, when the sign states that they close at 9pm. The next time that I stopped in was earlier in the day. It was very hot outside, and inside the business was not nearly as cool and comfortable as one would expect an ice cream shop to be. Also, there was a smell of something that I would compare to cat urine and decay (rot). This business doesn't make the ice cream that they serve. They buy it from a distributor, and then they serve it to the public in a variety of cones or cups. So basically, the customer of this business is paying for a single-serve ice cream treat and the experience of eating it in "a 1950s style diner." I would expect to pay a little bit more at an establishment like this, as you're paying for ice cream and an experience. However, that's not what this business is delivering. They are serving mediocre ice cream and kitsch on the wall.
I think that their current Business Name on Google should show perspective new customers how organized and integrated their business is (keep driving to the next option....)

Pleasant little spot. A little expensive. The ice cream was decent, I got a specialty butterfinger cone with 2 scoops of ice cream. I also purchased a regular cone with one scoop of ice cream and the total was almost $18.
I’m comparing the prices to Leon’s and Oscar’s in Milwaukee because they have high quality ice cream and I never go near $20 getting 2 items. I’ve gotten 2 specialty sundaes from Oscars before with all the extra toppings and it’s always under $13. Leon’s I’ve gotten 1 scoop on a regular cone and 2 scoops in a Cup for less than $6.
Will I go there again? Probably not, but it was a cool experience sitting in an old school type place eating Ice cream.

The ice cream was good, a little high in price. The service was pleasant. However, there was an odor in the place that smelled of old house and cats. I’m glad we went on a nice day and were able to eat outside. I would not have been able to enjoy inside.
