First place I go when I come to town. Hands down the best deli and even better people.

They make the BEST sandwiches in town! I love the giardiniera peppers and fresh bread. Everything together just makes the best Sammy! I’ve been getting the Italian Mini for over 30 years. It’s still the best around!
Really good food and great value. I have been trying to get here for a while but they close on the earlier side. It was definitely worth the wait. I ordered the large Italian Sub and it was great. I also thought it was reasonably priced compared to other places. I took it to go, but next time might eat there. Great place!

Haven't been here in years as I live out of town. I used to walk down here for lunch when I went to Horlick. Was visiting and grabbed a sandwich. Still excellent! Still great, fast, friendly service.

The Sausage Kitchen has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I literally grew up with it..my mom lived on the street behind it, and my dad lived on the street in front, so every weekend switching between homes meant one thing: we were stopping at the Sausage Kitchen.
As a kid, I’d walk up there with my little change jar, always on the hunt for snacks, and it was always the same warm, welcoming experience. Back when Dave owned it and now with Chris running the show, it still holds that same cozy, family-owned feel. They remember their regulars, they treat everyone like family, and that kind of genuine hospitality is rare these days.
What I love is that they haven’t changed much, no big corporate vibes, no flashy overhauls—just good food, good people, and a place that feels like home. Their deli, their snacks, the food , everything is delicious and made with care.
The Sausage Kitchen will always have a special place in my heart, and I’ll always recommend it to anyone looking for quality food and a local spot that actually means something.

Would I travel six hundred miles to eat here... yes yes I would. Whenever my family is in town there is a list of things to buy and bring back home. In particular the dry string cheese returns home in 5-10lbs quantities.
The sandwiches are also quite good and it's a place so good that all of the kids in our family have fond memories there from our childhood.
Their breakfast food is really good!
This deli has become my go to sandwich shop. The beef bundle sub has definitely become my favorite. The food is always fresh here and the friendly staff is a plus, fast service, nice seating area great place to get food. The menu is also great. They offer many choices and options. The hours are good for early birds.Love the old photos of Racine also.l'll most definitely make repeat visits here.
A CLUB SANDWICH HAS BACON.
THESE WERE NOT CLUB SANDWICHES.
BACON IS THE TICKET THAT GETS YOU IN THE CLUB.

Thanks for the great breakfast and cheese!
Great breakfast wraps. The best I have ate.
My favorite deli in Racine, one of two favorites in Wisconsin. They are consistently good at everything they do.
I found The Sausage Kitchen by asking google who had the sausage gravy and biscuits near me. It's true, best sausage gravy and biscuits I ever had!
Their cheese breakfast wrap is my go to breakfast option. Add tomatoes and jalapeños and I'm full for hours.
