Great food and great service. I had the Chicago dog and it hit the spot. The ingredients were fresh and the dog had great flavor and texture. I’m looking forward to trying some of the other dogs.

I’m 56 years old… Best hot dog I’ve had.The young man working behind the counter was super pleasant the cook came out to make sure he saw my order correctly. And then they brought my hotdog around the counter to me seriously this is Customer Service.I’ve lived in Madison, Chicago, St. Louis Kansas City, Cincinattit, Indianapolis Milwaukee, Green Bay and now Green Lake. And this is the best damn hot dog I’ve ever had. By the way I recommend the cowboy dog.

This was nothing short of fantastic. Everything we got was amazing. The cheese curds, the french fries, the specialty hotdogs we tried. Just fantastic. Everything was fresh. The kids who waited on us were really really great. I have never been in this town but I will go there for this restaurant.

Staff is friendly.. But, food is kot great. My hotdog was cold. My husband's hotdog looked like it had been sitting in heat for a long time. It was wrinkly and not tasty at all.

SHOUT OUT TO THIS AWESOME PLACE!!!The most impressive thing about this quaint, quick local treasure is most definitely the staff. Followed closely by their offerings, you will be in hot dog heaven (although they also serve a variety of burgers, appetizers, chicken)!My husband & I stopped here for a bite (he was craving ice cream & I needed something filling) while out checking out the great state of Wisconsin. We were immediately greeted by a young employee who gave us a laminated take away menu to peruse while they finished up with guests ahead of us (LOVED that we were acknowledged & did this without having to ask...wish we had gotten the employees name). I will admit, I was a little overwhelmed with the menu & choices as there were SO many options (almost too many to choose from). My husband decided on The Bandit & The Dachshund (pictured) for me. Starting at the base, I appreciated that the buns were buttered/grilled themselves to stand up to the load of toppings. The "dawgs" themselves were sizeable, good casing snap & quality meat. All served with a smile & some good conversation. We ate out at the picnic tables because it was such a lovely day. The interior of the store & outside property was clean & well maintained particularly for a building that has been a town staple for years.After lunch we had the chance to chat with a few other employees, Susan & Stacey (chatting with these ladies about the history & menu was the highlight!!!!) its clear to see where the younger employees get their commitment to guest service. They were deeply invested in feedback & satisfaction of everyone that visited. I am proud to patronize a business that believes in hiring from all backgrounds, affiliations etc & creates solutions to employ all members of the community.Treat yourself to some ice cream afterward, like we did...youll thank me later! Thank you for a wonderful experience, we will definitely be back to enjoy this experience again!
