Due to making Best Fish Fry my husband and I decided to take our grandson, his wife and their 2year old here for dinner on Friday. We were there for 45 minutes before our food order was taken. There for more than an hour and a half before we got our dinner. People around us came and went. All this with a 2 year old. At some point they said they were out of the potatoes we ordered and had to order a different potatoes. When our dinner came I had to get up and get our silverware. No apology or explanation. I understand things happen, people don't show up for work etc. And I'm 68 so I've been going out to dinner for some time, but this was a whole different level of bad management. And there were flies and nats.

Had 9 for fish, was not as good as usual. Fish seemed dry, especially the smaller pieces. We will come again as overall we do like Sams.

Stopped in tonight for the gyro special, and it was worth the stop. Service was speedy, my old fashioned was excellent, the bar was clean, and the owner, Sam, even offered up a free candy bar for my kiddo. We'll definitely be back!
