The food and service was great. It's an old bar without a lot of character. Heck they even serve ice cream sandwiches for dessert! YUM!

Went in for the Gyro special. It was luke warm and microwaved. I ate 2 bites and sent it back. The texture was weird. Was not offered a remake or another option. The bill came and was charged for the gyro anyway. I questioned the bartender and she said she doesn't have choice. I was also told the cook was somehow related to the owner. 2 other bars on this street have way better food and much friendlier staff.

Was visiting the area and we decided to go here for Dodge County’s #1 fish fry. The four of us arrived and sat down at 5:30pm. Took about 1/2 hour just to get something to drink and they forgot one drink. They said it would be about an hour for food and we understood and placed our order.
By 7:45pm all we received were a total 2 glasses of water for 2 of us, a total of 3 drinks for the other two and an appetizer of cheese curds which were good at least.
2 hours in we decided to just give the person at the bar the money for what we drank and the cheese curds, cancelled the dinner order and left.
We will never even try to go back. Service was terrible. Over 2 hours to only get cheese curds and had to actually go get some of our own drinks at the bar because they didn’t have enough waitstaff.
Unacceptable 😞
We ended up just going back to Beaver Dam and picking up Arby’s.

Best fish fry around. Great staff, friendly people, down home atmosphere. The food is great with lots of choices and more than enough to satisfy any appetite. Give it a try!
Place next door and the place before we’re closed for the holidays so we came here and will be back. Best poppers I have ever had among a great environment.
