Excellent coffee! It’s difficult to go back to commercial grade grocery store coffee when the bag is empty. The owner/roaster is very responsive and knowledgeable. The coffee subscription is helping me gain a greater appreciation for the varied flavor profiles that specialty coffees have to offer. Highly recommend.

We've had several batches from Coffee by Gillespie, and it is incredible the breadth of flavors that are brought out in the coffee. I'm used to the disappointment of tasting a new coffee and immediately discovering that they are overpoweringly acidic or have that burnt character; not the case here. With all of these coffees there has been a great combination of richness offset by sweeter notes.I opened a bag of the 1517 Roast for a pour over this morning, and it was one of the best cups of coffee I've ever had. I look forward to working my way through the rest of the types I have not tried, but I think 1517 is one just to have on hand.
