What a wonderful discovery. Went out here on a Friday evening to check this place out, due to our love of good wine. I was very pleased to meet the owner, The building is brand new and tidy. A nice bar to sit at and sip a glass. Jeremy gives a very good pour, other wineries and wine bars should take note. No stinginess here. While we were there, we met Jeremy's parents, wife, brother in law and children. By the end of our visit we felt like family.Their 2019 wines are not quite ready. We did enjoy Jeremy's choice, a 2016 Carmenere from Chile. But we are really looking forward to trying Jeremy's own wine.This winery is a labor of love. The owners are knowledgeable and dedicated to their art. I look forward to the years to come to see how this place grows and evolves.FYI the name Silarian is a take off of the word Silurian. The Silurian Period occurred from 443 million to 416 million years ago. It was the third period in the Paleozoic Era. There's your trivia for the day.We all decided that if red wine makes you live longer, we will all live to be 200 years old.Check their web site for music nights and the upcoming release of their wines. All in all if you want to drink some good wine in a wonderful and friendly atmosphere it would behoove you to check this place out, just keep in mind they are only open on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at this time.You can get bottles of their wine as of November, 2022 on our recent visit.

I'm from the area and I didn't even know the winery was here. I do now! I was part of a private class and learned so much about the history of Wisconsin's wine production. If you stop in for a tasting, the owners are extremely knowledgeable and pleasant. I found several wines I enjoyed and prices are comparable to other vineyards. I stayed for a glass of wine and bought a bottle of white and red to take home. There are sweet wines to dry. I was impressed because the 2 dry wines I purchased were excellent and suited to my taste.

While out for a drive looking at the fall colors, my hubby and I saw an open sign. We stopped in and so glad we did! I didn't know this little winery is so close to Manitowoc. Nice selection of their own wine and local beer. We tried a four wine flight. A cute little place with very friendly service. Unfortunately the wine we wanted to buy was sold out but we will back! The outside grounds are perfect for bringing your own picnic and the owner said they have bands. We'll be back!

Top-notch! I was here for a graduation party, and it was beautiful! The owner is amiable and helpful. The building itself is clean and beautiful. Outside there is seating, and the view is terrific.The wine is lovely. Better than almost anything I've had before!I will be returning to listen to music, sip some wine and buy a few bottles.
