Good lake perch (pan fried) and cod fish fry. Nice reuben. Tasty shrimp. Reasonable prices, great servers. Comfortable atmosphere. The chowder was the only disappointment. The flavor was good, but it could have used some more clams.

Very beautiful outdoor patio, delicious food and friendly staff. Our waitress was so sweet, efficient and nice. The Southwest salad was fantastic and the perfect size. The fries were yummy and the lemon blueberry cheesecake and brownie sundae were excellent.

We finally tried pleasant Hill. Overall, the atmosphere is nice and I was hopeful. I had the broiled cod and paid the $2 upcharge for sweet potato fries. Unfortunately, the cod was overdone and chewy. The sweet potato fries were ok but a very small portion for the upcharge. It's another eh, ok, place for dinner.

The service was excellent, and the staff was very friendly. We went there during lunch just for some appetizers and found they don't have much for their lunch menu. Had the deep fried cheese curds, and they were really grease. We also tried the deep-fried Collie flower, and that wasn't too bad. Want to go back to try their regular entrees because what we saw coming out to other tables looked really good.

Stopped for lunch after a local flea market. Easily found seats at the bar. Place was pretty busy at lunchtime on a Sunday but not packed. Bartender was attentive and served us quickly. My group all ordered bloody Mary's. Not bad. Not the best but still satisfying. I ordered a BLAT (bacon , lettuce, avocado and tomato). Came quickly on toasted sour bread. No fries by my request. I wasn't sure if they came with or were extra $. It wasn't clear on the menu nor did the aiter clarify. The reason for 3 stars with this review is because the amount of avocado on my sandwich. It was a sliver the size of my pinky finger. Even smaller. It was ridiculously tiny. One sliver on the entire sandwich. Another in my group ordered the same sandwich and the amount of avocado on hers was identical. A tiny sliver. Too small to add a taste to the sandwich. Outside of that the sandwich was good.
I brought it up to our server, showed him the tiny avocado sliver. He disappeared and returned several minutes later with half an avocado on a plate. My sandwich was long gone by then. He served the same to my friend and her sandwich was gone by then as well. Kinda weird.
Then when the bill came I paid with cash and while I was due .5 cents ( which no biggie, and would have left the nickel with the tip anyway) the server did not bring it back. Just kinda odd.

Would I eat there again? Yes if I was in that area. On a positive note the place was clean and really nice looking. The ladies room was spotless!

I ordered Veggie omelet for Sunday Brunch and according to the menu it included:
Tomatoes, bell peppers, spinach, onions, and mushrooms. Choice of cheese.

I asked for No mushrooms but please replace with spinach or tomato.

Waitress brings food and All veggies were raw in the center fold of omelet.
There were No peppers and VERY SPARSE on spinach tomato and onion.
But it had loads of Black Olives, Ewwww… as they were all raw and not cooked into omelet , I was able to push them aside.

Atmosphere was either lively with many people talking OR Very Quiet that you could hear a pin drop.
Perhaps some background music or TV volume would help.

Will give Pleasant Hill Bar Grill another try maybe for a dinner meal.

This place is nice. Just finished eating a Sunday morning breakfast and the food was great. The atmosphere isn't amazing but you typically get seated right away and there is a server ready for you at your earliest convenience. I highly recommend getting the hangover burger. Simple and no fuss here. Well done.

The food was good the service was terrible. Let our drinks get empty, brought the appetizer way after the lunch, never checked on how we were doing as we were missing something else ordered, said he would see what he could do about the bill but didn’t change it. An hour and a half for 2 people at lunch because it was the slowest service with 6 tables and 2 servers. Unacceptable. You need to move faster in This industry.

My husband and I went in tonight to try their fish fry. We ordered the beer-battered cod to take out. The server gave us the bill right away, and so I paid and left a nice 25% tip. I should know better than giving the tip before I get the service. It always seems to lead to awful service.

We then waited a half hour to get our food. After the people sitting next to us who had ordered quite a bit after we did got their fish fry delivered, I was going to ask our waiter what the delay was with ours. I thought maybe they were boxing ours up, and it took longer to box the food than plate it.... So, I waited a few minutes, but before I said anything, our server went and picked up a box of food that I had noticed sitting on the counter for at least 15 minutes. I had assumed it was for someone who had called in an order, since all the servers kept walking by it. When I told the waiter the food had been sitting there a long time, he claimed not to have noticed it.... For 15 minutes? And none of the other servers said anything either? I asked if it would still be warm after all that time, and he said not to worry, it would be fine.

Well, it was still warm when we got home 5 minutes later, but it was very soggy. The beer batter was awful, not nice and crispy as it should be. It was also too salty to eat! I rarely salt my food, but my husband does, and both of us thought the fish was too salty to eat -- without having added any salt ourselves! I scraped off the batter since it was soggy anyway, and tried to eat just the fish, which wasn't great. We then just threw out several of the pieces. It was too salty to even give to our dogs.

The french fries were not real great, either. Also soggy and stuck together. The cole slaw was good.

We will never be going back. Pretty sad since it's only 5 minutes from our house, it would have been a nice place to get food...
